For those who have gone to Mickey's-Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, what candy did you get as treats?

Going Oct. 2nd and getting so excited!

We are going September 18th and would love to know that answer too!

We have gotten peanut butter cups, Snickers, Milky Ways, Tootsie Rolls, Hersey Kisses, Now and Laters, Raisens, etc.
Between DH, DD and I, we came home with 4 pounds of candy. It lasted for weeks!

I guess I better make sure I have some extra room to pack all the goodies, yes?

Four pounds . . . I'm ready for it!

How I wish that, if I ate a pound of chocolate, I would only gain a pound. But no . . .

It's just not fair! :headache:

Yet, I plan on enjoying all of it regardless! BRING ON THE CHOCOLATE!

Did the Halloween party in DL last year on Halloween night. DD and I flew there and met up with friends... we ate some candy during the trip. On the way home we had 1 suitcase that only had candy and it was just shy of the 50 pound limit!!! Yep we had TONS of candy!!!

Those little trick or treat bags they give you may look small, but they hold TONS of candy. You don't realize until you get back to your room and dump them out just how much candy you have!
It is so much fun. We will be there again on Oct. 1st.

What percentage of treats were chocolate, would you say? (Note: the melt-in-your-mouth kind, please . . . not the Tootsie Roll kind.) :stitch2:

We have always scored a lot of candy! And then DD gets Mickey Pumpkin tattoos,Pooh game cards etc.We have I swear a stack of 30 boxes of the cards!! I think I am going to recycle and give them out to kids in her class this year in boo bags :)

Hmm...I'd say at least 40% or so. DH and I both filled our bags and it was SO much.

I swear we got some of just about every candy that existed, from raisins and penny candy to Snickers/Reeeses to full size bags of Kissables. It was awesome!

Where di you get the tattoo's and cards ? My kids would lvoe me to bring them some home, well I would like the tat's too !! hehe... :rolleyes1

We didn't get much chocolate. We received some Kit Kats, a couple of Snickers and Reese's peanut butter cups, and some cheaper chocolate. It was so warm that most of the chocolate melted and we ended up throwing it out. We also received Bottle Caps, Twzzlers, Smarties, sour Smarties, Sour Patch Kids, Tootsie Rolls, Mike and Ike's, Skittles, and Sugar Babies.

I'm sure if you wanted to get tons of candy you could by going thru the lines more than once, but most of the lines we went thru were only giving out two or three pieces at a time. We were more interested in the Villians Meet and Greet than getting candy. We also received a handful of candy (about 10 pieces a person) from some cast members right after the turnstyles when we left the park.

I don't really remember where they came from .. but last year and the year before we ended up with cool non candy things.
2007 we got stickers for the Mickey's Treat halloween dvd that came out, pumpkin Mickey tattoos.
Last year we went to Dtown Disney,MNSSHP and POP Century *where we were staying* and T or T at all 3.And I think some of the cards came from there and Dtown.
I like the non candy things best..DD doesn't eat much candy so hubby took it all out to sea with him when he left on patrol ! No wonder they were all in dental when they got back home :)

A lot must have changed since 2004 when we barely filled 1/3 of the bag. We were really disappointed.

Not that we (I) was there for the candy, but it was sort of lame.

The park was MOBBED, but the rides were empty.

I was at the first party this year on 9/4. I didn't think the candy was all that great, but I wasn't there for the candy so it didn't really matter that much. The majority of my candy was sweet tarts, smarties, nerds, Mike & Ikes, Now & Laters, tootsie rolls, jolly ranchers, and other little hard candies. There were a couple tootsie pops, a couple little bite size snickers/milky way, one fun size bag of M&Ms, one fun size twix, and a couple fun size packs of licorice that were so hard they were like hard candy, I wondered if they were left from last year, I've never seen licorice so hard. I also got 16 boxes of raisins, I know for sure because I counted them out to give to my preschool kids and had just enough. I was definitely not impressed with the candy, the Pirate & Princess party was much better, that was just about all chocolate. I ate the little bit of chocolate I got at this party along with the licorice and tootsie pops and gave the rest to my kids, they like that junk!

its always been great for candy BUT this year was horrible....We went this past friday and the cast members giving out candy for the most part were parting with candy as if it was coming from their own pockets......out of 10 bags of candy(which isnt so much considering there were 7 of us and when we left the nice cast members at the front gates filled our bags like crazy!)....but out of 10 bags we got only 2 pieces of hersheys and 99.9% was lollys......smarties...tootsie rolls......just cheap candy......I spoke to a cast member friend of mine who told me the problem this year was the had no sponser which usually they do and usually gives them a great brand the promote......fun night but when you have little children who love candy and all they get is hard candy its a letdown......

Sorry we also got way to many raisens but the rides were empty and its not often Dumbo is completly empty..........

 How disappointing! Any chance the lack of chocolate could be because of hot weather?
