Halloween Party Help

I will be at a conference and have a chance to purchase tickets to the Halloween Party.

I am staying at the Gaylord Palms and would be going to the party on October 8th. I would probably arrive at the Magic Kingdom around 6-630pm.

Are there any places open in the parks to eat? I would be jumping right out of the conference and over to the parks. We will be hungry.

Also - getting there. What is the best way to get over to the Magic Kingdom and back to the hotel?

Maps are available in the Halloween thread and they list the open restaurants -https://www.disboards.com/threads/official-2018-mickeys-not-so-scary-halloween-party-a-spooktacular-celebration.3665880/ Personally I like the sit down places and have reservations at BOG and LTT. In the past I've done CRT and Tony's Town square. There's also a number of counter service places open and of course plenty of free candy!

There are some options open during the party BUT mostly for sweets. There are some burgers, nachos, chicken fingers at a few of the QS. Another option is to walk over to CR and have a meal there too. Not the most ideal but if the options don't appeal it's not far. The map did come out today ( and is pinned on the main page on the right ) - check out the options and you can plan from there.

I would head over to the thread that Raya has linked in her response to get fantastic info on MVMCP!

There will be many counter service restaurants open during the party and some TS as well. I would highly recommend simply doing QS so you can enjoy the party.

I would consider uber/lyft/cab to get to MK and back. You could ask them to drop you at CR so you can walk over or just have them drop you at TTC and take the monorail or ferry. You will be able to get uber/lyft/cab back to your resort after the party by either walking to CR or boat/monorail to TTC.

If you have a rental car, just take a left on Osceola Parkway and follow the signs. It’s pretty easy, we stay out a mile or 2 further at Storey Lake. Gaylord Palms is my almost home landmark I can’t help with dinner because I think we ate earlier last year, maybe 5:00ish at Harbor House. Have fun.
