Metro, I am not going to scream. I may laugh a bit, but screaming on the Mummy?? When kids as small as 5 can get on the ride. Now, if we go on one of those dragons. I can scream for you alright. I would scream "Metro, why did you take me on this ride", over, and over. Do you scream, or are you silent?

I usually laugh at the screamers. I was on ROTM one time and was seated beside this TALL kid..probably 14 or so and a basketball player. He looked like the type of person you'd run away from if you met him in a dark alley. Once the ride started, he started screaming like a little girl...I was crying from laughter. Those are the types of people I like to ride with.

I felt the same way before the meet in June @ Margaritaville. But...you just have to take a deep breath and introduce yourself...it's not hard to do. Once you get chatting with the others, you'll have a great time. Everyone I met was very nice and we had a great time!

Some people have posted thier plans, others havent, so how do you basically figure out, the best place, especially when alot of our plans are not coinciding. Everyone who posted seemed genuine in wanting to meet. I dont want to disappoint them.

I'm sure everyone was reading our posts and saying isnt this supposed to be a HHN theme post. I know, I got carried away typing to you Metro. I was way OT I know. So, everyone, you now all can resume posting about your excitement, and love for HHN. Afterall, we are only a few short months away!! I really didnt mean to kill the thread. I will try to keep on topic, from now on, hopefully.


Anyone have any ideas about the other houses?? I'm sure my hopes for Saw, or Hostel houses wont come to fruition this year. So what does everyone think?? Other than the 4 confirmed ones?

I found a picture of one of the scareactors who scared me so good @ HHN 2005. I cannot remember the house he was in, but they had several look alikes in the house, but the one who scared me most. Was one who looked ,like this but was extremely tall, 6'5" give or take. i thought at first it was a statue until it moved and hovered over me. I was, scared alright. Him breathing down my neck. Melissa - That was one of the greeters at "The Body Collectors" that year. I remember that house being about the goriest I had ever seen during HHN.

i've already walked through 6 of the 8 houses. some are really impressive! i have some pics but i can't show them =( they are of the plans and descriptive settings. Psychoscareapy is a new take on last years. it looks to be possibly the best house as it's HUGE. you literally walk into and out of i think 3 or 4 mock houses. the premise is a van of psychos are being transported on xmas eve and crash into a house in a neighborhood. they kill the guard driving and rampage the hood. you go through different houses seeing what the are doing to the residents and they are comming after you as well.

the thing house looks amazing as it's based on the movie the thing. the finale of the house i can't ruin but lets just say it'll be huge!

the freddy house has many neat tricks too! they are going crazy this year and it's gonna rock. it's complete with boiler room scene, and you WALK THROUGH the bed that johnny dep got pulled through. they have bits where he's in the walls.

the texas massacre house is neat too. has a cool bus thing at the end. it's all i can say about that.

the jason one i haven't gone through yet as it's still in construction phase.

don't know anything about the vampire house =/

just save the jack's back clown house for last as it's the cheap house (they do one every year) so if you miss it no biggy. it's just all blacklight stuff.

i might get some in progress shots soon as decor is finally in there and our fx team is starting to put in props and bodies. i'll post here what i take and can show.

Just got in from work, and wow! That is awesome the thing. Wow!!!Oh this is going to be so good!! I really cannot wait!!Let me ask something. Staying on topic here. I noticed people take pics with some of the scareactors. I never bought in my camera. Because, I felt it would take away from the others trying to enjoy HHN. Without all the flash going off. But, I want to get a picture with Jack. How do I go about doing that? Is it ok, if I hug him?? Or is there no touching absolutely?

Last year they had a whole section dedicated to photo ops with the scareactors. Usually the icons or in this case Jack will be available for photos somewhere during the event.

Last year the Icons were roaming around and posing for pics, except it seemed, for Jack. At least when we were there, he was only in an area where you had to pay to get your pic with him. I have a pic somewhere of me and the Caretaker.

My DW & I go to HHN every year. We ask whoever scare actor, if we can take a pic w/ them & they all say YES! super nice people.

Last year the Icons were roaming around and posing for pics, except it seemed, for Jack. At least when we were there, he was only in an area where you had to pay to get your pic with him.

Just curious where that was...when we were there I don't recall seeing any area where you had to pay extra to get pics.

We got our pics with all four icons after the Arrival show. It would take place several times per night and at the end all four icons (as well as Darkness and his "assistants") would come out for photos.

I wonder if the popularity of that in the first few weeks led to them setting something up later in the month to squeeze a few more bucks out of people.
