Hi,
We will be visiting disney/universal in October and will only have 2 full days to visit the parks. Trying to get some feedback as to whether the Halloween horror nights are worth the extra money for the night. My kids are 15 and 12 and love scary movies/haunted houses. Also does anyone have any information on the cost of VIP Passes. I called Universal and was told they dont have information available about VIP passes for HHN yet.
We could attend either friday or saturday nights oct 25,26. Any information/opinions appreciated. We actually get in on thursday nite about 7:30 , would this nite be much less crowded and therefore a better nite to go with a regular ticket versus paying the extra cost for a vip ticket on fri /sat??

They aren't VIP passes, it's a VIP tour. Info can be found at this number-

Thank you.

Hi

You will find it is the best night you will have in Orlando. Went last year for the first time and it is great spooky fun. Anyone who is on vacation during the times it is on MUST go!

Unfortunately we arrive on November 3rd this year - one day after it closes - drat and double drat!!

This is my first post after finding this site after the UK boards shut down last year - so hi to everyone out there!

Of coarse it's worth it. The parks stay open late, the air temperatur is cool, and you get to ride coasters in the dark.

For those of you who are planning, Orlando is out of school October 17 (Thu) and 18 (Fri), and Tampa is out of school October 18th (Fri).
IOA should have heavy attendance on that Thursday night with no school the next day.
I had origonally planned to drive up the 17th and 18th, but now I'm gonna move it to the next week.

I just found this thread - shouldn't have put up another one on the same subject - sorry!

Is there anything going on for the 21st? I am really glad to know about the schools being out for the 18th and 19th. Thought something was up as the hours go until 2:00 am? We are leaving on the 22nd so this would be a fun way to end the trip.

Is it really scary?
