Has anyone attended this event? If so, what were your thoughts. We attended MNSSHP last year and was wondering how would this compare to that. TIA

There is no comparison. Disney is kid oriented but at Universal it is deffinately PG-13. There are some kids there that are less than 13 but you will need to decide how the kids will react to some gruesome areas and freightful stuff. There are things jumping out at you in the walkways and the houses are excellent.

Marauder,

That comparison made me laugh out loud !!!

*pretty acurate too *

We did not attend the Universal event but it was teh night that we were at Universal. As we were leaving we saw the crowd forming to enter for the evening. I don't think I am old enough for that event. Universal had set up a gilatine ? and several other torture devices. If you have older kids they might enjoy it but you probably would not.

We were there last year while it was going on as well, but have a 3 yr. old that definately couldn't do this. I had gone to their web site before we arrived, and even that scared me!!! Houses where bugs and rats crawl on you, alien experiments gone beserk, people popping out of nowhere and chasing you with chainsaws....Not for kids, IMO
