halloween cruise/ Magic: October 28th-nov..4th 2006

We returned last night about 8:30. Had a great trip! Thanks PrincessH and Kritter for organizing the Trick or Treat. It made our DS trip!

We went to see Invincible Friday night. After the movie we headed up on 10 to see what things looked like. Pretty intense! Storage cabinet doors blowing open and closed. Even saw one that was broken. Believe this may have been from the storm. Deck 10 Port Aft was wet from the spray being blown by the wind.

Only had to walk up to the front one way. From the Stbd side to the tip you had the fight your way then the wind just pushed you to the port side.

Went to guest services after that and the stairwell were creaking. Have never heard this on any of our 5 previos Magic trips.

Our DS was funny. When he got back to his room he got out his lifejacket. Said he was not going to die, though 10 minutes earlier he was having a good time up on 10 with me. Guess it intimidating him a bit.

Glad we were coming back to port thru it. Could you imagine that being your first day or first day on your first cruise.

Well...

We're NOT unpacked yet from the MID September cruise still... as we've had a few little trips since then and got another trip again this week! As such my spouse has only laundered our travel clothes and adjusted the load packed for the shorter trips we've taken since. As such... I've really felt a bit like a "Nomad" these past few weeks since!

The up side is after this weekend we've got nothing significant for travel til Christmas!

We got back on Sat. night and had a blast! What a cruise! It was our first Magic sailing and cannot wait for next one. That Pirate night was amazing and I loved the cute grad. ceremony. I met so many really ncie people on this cruise but never bothered to ask if they were disers.

Well, I'm ready to go back now! We had a great time. And that is mostly due to the great DISer families that we got to spend time with! The mouse might have had something to do with it too Laurdes definitely had a little something to do with it, as well

I'm really ticked that I missed the whole storm on the way back to PC. I totally slept through the whole deal. I could probably sleep through a hurricane, though.

We got in really late Saturday night because the service we used apparently went out of business after taking us to the airport. I left several messages on their service and never even got a call back! So, we ended up doing the Super(slow)Shuttle thing. Our plane arrived at about 6:30pm and we didn't get home until after 10:00PM (Midnight EST) - ICK!

On Sunday, I started going through our pictures and discovered that I accidentally changed the settings on our camera on St Thomas. So, any pictures (most of them) that I took on the "Auto" setting are SMALL (VGA, 640x480)! I'm sick about that. We had some pretty decent pictures that I would LOVE to have set as wallpaper or maybe even printed. So, I think we'll just have to go back and take them all again! Are you guys ready to go with us again? 'cause some of the pictures are of YOU (I am stalking you after all)!

Did y'all see Fran & Dave's new fish extender?

congratulations!!! I wanna go! My in-laws rebooked for 08 also, but I'm still trying to pry the $$$$ out of DH hands..... He hasn't said NO, just that I have to have all of the $$$$ upfront first. so as soon as we got home,..all change went into the DCL ship bank! gotta love that bank!

THis was our first time to go Eastern and we LOVED it
I really enjoyed the days @ sea, and didn't we have beautiful weather?!

We're rebooked for Sept. 15th in 2007 - the Eastern Magic however... we may do a "mandatory" Family gathering trip in August that will shift our travel dates a bit. So we may or may NOT stick with the September 15th date. That opens up the possibility of sailing next Halloween! Then I can dust off my Anakin and Padame Star Wars costumes for me and my spouse to use on the Halloween voyage!

Well, you are welcome to any/all of the shots we took. We did mange to get some decent shots of all of the kids on the beach, and in the taxi. Although I couldn't zoom out as far as you could.....you know your lens is so big and all....LOL...

Thanks to all the DIS folks that helped with the Trick or Treat. It was great. We had an amazing trip and rebooked to come back next year on the Halloween Cruise 2007 along with my brother/sister in law and their two kids. We can't wait!!!

Hi Everyone. Just a quick FYI. Cameron started to get a cough Thursday morning. Today he has a temp of 104.2 and a raging case of strep throat. He was in the lab only a few times but caught it somewhere while on vacation. Any symptoms head to your doctors asap!

I swear I heard soo many kids coughing loudly on the ship...
