ArmandXG - That sucks on the job! But, I guess the timing couldn't be much better! I always look at this way: I was looking for a job when I found this one! I'm sure it will be nice to get a little less nocturnal schedule, too!

I just checked room availability (again). There were only 3 staterooms available for cats 10/11. Still 8+ in cat 9. Everything else (cats 4-8, 12) are GTY only.

We got to put a hold on our mail today! One more thing to check off the list! If you didn't know you can do it online, 14 days in advance, at https://dunsapp.usps.gov/HoldMail.jsp

AWOL----Thanks for the tip...I just had ours held!! Sure beats a trip to the post office!!!!

The doc's finally got here. I guess we were not the last. Doesn't the last person to get their doc's buy the 1st round of drinks????? :thumbsup2

He came while we were out getting Hubby some shoes and new shirt for the cruise. The sneaky little buzzard. :woohoo:

In an ironic twist, I also found out this a.m. that Friday will be my last day at work because I am good friends (and show a strong loyalty???) to the Manager who's last day was yesterday.
The good news is that I no longer have to get up at 2 or 2:30 a.m. every day. So now I have more time to get ready for a well deserved vacation and will be able to join everyone in the morning walks on board! :rotfl:
Of course it's either back to being a housewife with no excuse as to why the socks didn't get folded (my worst job) or back to job hunting. I think I'd rather go look for a job. :goodvibes

I feel your pain sister! I found out about 10 days ago my job was eliminated due to funding in the school! I wouldn't go back to staying home for the world. I have been substitute teaching instead (I go to school at night). You have a great attitude though. It took me about a day to realize that even though that door closed, another has opened. ;)

Got our docs today too.

Are we there yet?

I missed your doc dance. Did you get yours?

Still nothing here, but there is still one more UPS pass this afternoon.

Sorry, here is my dance    We got them yesterday.

Lets hope yours come today, or that DoD/Beer Budget could take a major hit

Thanks everyone on the condolences. I didn't want it to sound too negative. Some good things came out of it...like wonderful friends.
Today is a day to celebrate. :cheer2: Many people are doing the doc dance and we are one day closer to a MAGICAL cruise. pixiedust:
I'm all for the "last dancer buys" deal. But will anyone fess up??? :rolleyes1
Congrats to all who danced today :cool1:  :cool1:

Uh oh. I think it is pretty well documented that we are still holding out who else. I'll search through the posts from the past few days to unearth someone else that is waiting!

As has been the case for a while now, the Atlantic Basin has been fairly quiet with respect to tropical development and that is not expected to change very much any time soon.

There are a couple of tropical waves to keep an eye on. The first will be crossing west across the Windward and Leeward islands tonight and Thursday and then moving through the eastern Carribean. Showers and thunderstorms remain disoprganized with this wave and no development seems likely over the next two days. A good amount of shear remains over this part of the tropics and that is forecast to continue. Showers and thunderstorms are also occurring near Hispanola, but like the tropical wave, this area is in a good amount of shear and no organization of this area is forseen anytime soon.

Farther east toward Africa, there is another tropical wave embedded within the Intertropical Convergence Zone, near 34 west, south of 18 north moving west at 10 knots. However, as we proceed through the rest of the week, an upper low will dig southwestward from the Azores to near 30 west, south of 38 north, increasing the amount of shear across the eastern Atlantic and really inhibiting the development of this wave and any other wave to emerge off of the African coast for some time to come.

Toward the weekend and into next week, the more favorable areas for development will shift toward the western Caribbean and southern Gulf of Mexico; however, at this point it is hard to say that a wave will be in this area.

 :woohoo:

Hopefully we can keep reports like this one going for a few weeks!

Shaughn- Good luck to you in your job search.....I'm sure something even better will come your way, and you'll be happy it all happened!

Choc_Marg- If you end up to be last dancer, I'd be quite satisfied with something you whip up in the magic bullet!

We haven't receiver our docs either. WE called our Travel Agent Yesterday and she said Disney had just sent them out and she should receive them today or tomorrow. She is going to overnight them so I hope to get them by Saturday.

Congrats to everyone who got theirs. :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :cool1: :cool1:

I am so ready for vacation. Currently we are under a tornado warning combined with an overnight freeze warning and possible snow tomorrow. I need sun.

Yuck - we had that today and tonight the temps are dropping into the low 20's. I need the next two weeks to fly by. :Pinkbounc

It's absolutely miserable here too. It's 87 degrees which, according to weather.com, feels like 83. I hope it doesn't snow tonight! :rotfl2:

I just did a little dance with our docs in the kitchen and the kids laughed at me!

:cool1:  :dance3: :dancer: :dogdance:

Bucki - Got the docs, so we aren't last, but I'll be happy to mix up a little something for you. We'll have to make sure that we hook up when the bullet is running!
