Hi to all! :wave2:

Captian, I am not going to take a guess at the items, because Kristin already geussed what I was going to. The pictures are so cute. I love the picture of your daugther covering her face while your wife is goofing around with you! That is too cute!

Hope everyone is having a good week! It is supposed to be in the 80's here today. All my daycare kids are already asleep. We were outside playing for about 2 hours this morn! Hope everyone else is having good weather! :sunny:

Happy weekend everyone all is well here for right now...Rainy and cold todya...

Jen how was camerons birthday...sure the capt..would like to hear about the star wars exhibit!!!!!

Kristin, I just got your message I will call you tomorrow. I hope dinner with "friends" went well. As for Thursday :darth:....four eight year old boys are WILD. The Star Wars exhiibit was great. It was intended (IMO) for true Star Wars fanatics. The boys LOVE Star Wars but they didn't get how cool it really was to see the real costumes and guns etc......in person. They thought it was cool but were just as excited in the Star Wars gift shop as they were with the exhibit. I think Craig and I got a bigger thrill from it. They got a little bored during the Omni theatre presentation on how they do special effects. Some of it was exciting and some was not. You and the girls would be bored with most of it. Bruce would love it.

Tomorrow is Cameron's real birthday. I picked his cake up at the bakery after his baseball parade this morning. The cake is Red Sox. Really cute. My birthday is next weekend I can't believe I'll be 25 or something like that :ssst:

Crash........ I wore the sea bands while deathly ill during my pregnancies. I can't tell what else she has on. Maybe one of those Italian charm bracelets. I'm usually really good with this stuff but I can't see them that well. It looks like you have a shoe horn around your neck. I have no clue. Something for the baby maybe? I don't know how you manage to lure me into these games all the time. I am so not a game girl but something about you brings out my competitive side.

Hey...

We got another vote on the cabin poll! Is the person who voted lurking by any chance? C'mon out an' introduce yourself! We're not gonna bite... are we? Well... at least not this weekend, eh? :)

And on the photo guessing.... here's another clue... "Quack! Quack!" .... "Zzzzzt, Zzzzt!" .... :confused3

My little Julianna was unhappy over something I can't recall now - otherwise this might have been a nice picture.
I like it anyway though!

So, anyone care to venture a guess where this photo (below) was taken?

"Taa- Daa!!!" ..... Kristen ... you've won another hand delivered Mickey bar! Yes it IS a duck calling device which "quacks" when you blow it! And I was wearing it because we were sort of h anging out with our table mates from dinner and our kids would look right at me and the camera when i "quacked". So it was quite effective - unfortunately, as with all cheap toys - it eventually broke on that 1st Disney Sailing. So you'll not see me tootin' that annoying thing on our sailin'. "Taaaa --- Daaaa"!!!

And... in the interests of the greater common good in not runnin' about the ship with melting ice cream an' all... we'll assume your mickey bar will cancel out the mickey bar I was to get from you for the pointers and tips I sent you on flight arrangements/savings. :rolleyes1

And on your 2nd guess.... "EeeNaaaaKKK" ..... X :scared1:

It is indeed a European train station.... but can you (or anyone else) name it? :confused3 No tangible prize involved other than the intangible pleasure of being proclaimed "sleuth extraordinaire of the day" , with honors and imaginary chocolate sprinkles!

oh Capt,
so happy I was right...But I must say that it is no fun guessing if I do not have the mickey bar up for grabs...I would have to say London???

Yes, I do believe that I "owed" you one or more mickey bars....I am thinking we should continue this little game and then you and I will be indebted to one another all cruise long for Mickey bars....We will either be really fat at the end of the cruise from all of the bars or sick of eating them by then....

I like being able to see a picture and having to guess from the picture anyone else have any interesting pictures they could post and we could guess where you are etc....??????

ok...

we'll go back to the M bar thing. I was just makin' a suggestion is all.

So anyone notice we just got another vote on the poll? That makes two additions in the last few days. If the recent voters on the poll are lurking... please come out and introduce yourselves!

AND... on the custom sweat shirts for $12.99... I got an email from the disney.com folks saying I had to change my language on the custom printing. SO I called them and as it turns out I could NOT say Disney MAGIC. They would not explain why that was aproblem - even though the directions on the site suggested that this would have been OK, So I changed it to Disney Cruise instead at thier suggestion. All should be OK now and we'll be getting our order in a few days.

I had not heard from anyone whether they had looked at the site and whether anyone likjed the idea or not? Or should we go back to a custom design made on our own? Any thoughts? Oh yeah... I know you (Kristen) have seen it - but you did not say whether you liked the idea or not?

Oh well...

 TTFN

Here are a couple of photos from Easter weekend where my girls were riding ponies - in the latter case K was a little dare-devil riding with "no hands"!

Hello...

Glad you got a chuckle out of the photos... obtaining a few grins was my intent. :)

SO on another note... my BIL just emailed me that United Airlines recently announced they were going to raise their fees and requirements to redeem frequent flyer awards. The general effect is that it will cost you $ if you book an award with less than 2 weeks to go... and the cost in mileage has increased about 20% on average. What used to be 25,000 miles for a 48 state saver award is now 30,000. :furious: That is not really too insulting however compared to the rest of the industry - but it still represents a loss to loyal United customers like my family + everyone else in our family who has concentrated their flight milage with UAL.

So - I know this may not be of interest to anyone else here - but it's my rant for the day. I think my spouse and I have nearly 750,000 miles that now will buy 600,000 of travel after October 16th. SO it looks like we'll be using our miles to try and book some travel this year. and, it's a gppod thing that we've been using our mileage more in the past 3 years post 9-11. I predicted that UAL would have to eventually tighten their frequent flyer program in the wake of their Bk. So much for flying enough to requalify for a higher flight privilage/preference level.

Cheers!
:goodvibes

Capt,

I hear you with all of the miles...We have so many on delta...But I am afraid now with the situation with delta that I will never be able to use them...

So what is the verdict here on the t-shirts??????

I've got custom made ones coming from Disney for the kids - and I have a couple of discounted sweat shirts coming for my spouse and I. I could not resist since they would include Disney characters on them. Only the kids' T shirts could only be semi-customized... and the Sweat shirts were fully customized except they would not allow me to print Disney MAGIC and instead allowed "Disney Cruise".

So - I got plastered by "projectile-like cookie tossings" from my 2 year old today. I was drenched from neck to waist. It was very sobering. :confused3

Aside from that - it was just another Monday stroll in the park!

On the contrary....

We are not closed to the idea of making custom designed T_shirts. I was just curious what other folks thought of the Disney designs. We otherwise cannot use Disney characters in the design on any garment.

I guess a number of folks must be off line or traveling as I have not seen postings from some folks in a while. Should I just post photos of some designs then? And we'll see how folks respond?

I guess I have answered my own question - in that I'll make some and put them up. Today we're out of town again - so perhaps I'll put them up by this weekend.

Cheers,

Gotta run - the kids are raising a ruckus from the sound of it in the next room!
