Okay so if you go to the DW Halloween Party, do you dress up? If so let us know what you plan to wear this year.
DH is going as Indiana Jones, I'll be a hula girl and DS wants to be Captain Jack.
frame!
My kids are going in their soccer uniforms(CHEAP!), I am going to go as a nurse I think(buy some scrubs, and we have the stethescope, and I can wear gym shoes. Comfy). My DH works part time for the Indy Racing League and has to wear a uniform when he works the races. So, guess what he wants to go as...yes...an Indy Racing League Official. Very unique!!!this will be our first too! But I think that we are going to be peter pan, captain hook, tinker bell & wendy!! Don't really know in what order yet ( I don't think that DH knows that he is going to get dressed up yet!) But we ARE going to get dressed up, I still need to think--they have to be COOL (as in heat) costumes!!

. I would want to be Cinderella since DD is being Tink. Now mind you I'm just over 30 but am blonde and on the smaller side. I don't see how there would be confusion but I fear they won't let me in. Most Disney Princesses are 10 years younger than me.This will also be our first MNSSHP and DD will be Tink and DS will be Peter Pan. I don't know if we are dressing up or not yet. I wanted to but heard they don't like adults to dress like Disney characters. I would want to be Cinderella since DD is being Tink. DH and I went alone last year. There was this woman there dressed as Belle in the gold gown. She made it herself, but she looked like the real deal!! I was sitting beside her and she told me that CM's took her aside and told her that she was not to pose for pictures, sign anything or impersonate Belle in any way, shape or form. This was because by doing so, she would be impersonating a CM and that could open Disney up to a whole slew of legal problems if something were to go wrong. If I didn't see the candy bag on her wrist, I too would have thought she was a cast member. Actually, her dress was more detailed than the one the 'real Belle' wears. I think that is really the only reason Disney doesn't want you to REALLY dress up. But there were tons of adults dressed like Disney characters. Mostly in the bought costumes and trust me, you can tell that they aren't CM's. I plan to dress like Snow White, but you'll be able to tell that I'm not a CM...just a mom.
DH and I didn't dress up last year and let me tell you.....we felt like the only party-pooper adults there. Mostly everyone was looking great in their costumes. We're not making that same mistake this year!!
. I guess I might be stuck being Wendy since DD is being Tink. She is perfect for the costume too.
This year the 2yo will be a monkey and the 3 week old will have a banana bunting for hte MNSSHP. We're going to hit it 2 days so if it's too hot the first date we'll dress them up the 2nd which will be actual Halloween and dressing up is a must!

Well then I will be dressing up, it sounds like fun. DH said no way is he dressing up though. I guess I might be stuck being Wendy since DD is being Tink. She is perfect for the costume too.
