Halloween 2013

Aside from getting to the frontierland station and/or cowboy cookout, that area is completely redundant now ! They couldn't even keep the characters at cowboy cookout to ease the pain slightly lol

If they sent DISboards in it would be all sorted in 2 weeks ;)
Woodys Round Up was such a good meet and greet and the Chaparral was a great theatre for indoor shows. DLP are missing out on a perfect any weather show spot which would divert crowds from the bottleneck at the entrance to BTM! I agree too on CBCO, they are missing a trick there too.

Aside from the fact that Dreams has been confirmed to be on every day, has there been anything else confirmed to be happening/not happening during the Halloween Season?

It's my first time going during Halloween and I'm a very excited panda! :lmao:

Hi all,

Sorry if I've missed something, but have DLP confirmed that the Disney Dreams show will continue in October?

We're there for 4 nights from Oct 7th and my youngest will pretty much be delirious with excitement if it's still on...if anyone knows the details on the times if it is, I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks
Steve

yes, It's been confirmed that it will show every night until September 2014 :goodvibes

It will be shown at park closing time. So for your whole stay it will be shown at 8pm.

They've also recently revealed the ride closures for that period. Currently it's just "It's A Small World" and "Le Pays des Contes de Fées" that are down for your whole stay.

2014 - that s great! :cool1:

I've such a huge smile on my face now.
This is going to make my kids so happy because they love this show so much.

We last saw it in Feb 2013, but I've seen a could of bits of news that mentioned new additions to the Dreams show...can't wait!!!

They've added a new brave scene and a lion king one - I watched the new show format on YouTube (willpower = zero :lmao:) and I think they really fit in well! :cheer2:

I thought about not telling them that Dreams was still on - but caved in after about 10 seconds :goodvibes

I'm definitely not going to tell them there are extra scenes to it - I'll let them be surprised :)

Thanks again for the information :)

Just as info, they aren't "extra" scenes. They removed the Jungle Book and Mary Poppins scene and replaced them with Lion King and Brave :)

I'm yet to tell DD about our trip at all, although it's becoming harder and harder to keep it secret.

On our first trip I lasted until 30 days before, let's see if I can do better than that this time! :rotfl:

Have you any reveal ideas in mind? We did a hardback book which revealed it at the Travelodge at 3am lol (DD was still half asleep and still thought we were just there to go to the zoo!) and a treasure hunt that led to new bags and autograph books.

The first time we went I got someone to send her a postcard from Mickey & Minnie revealing it.

I was thinking of doing a treasure hunt for her on the morning of the trip, but I'd need to think of an excuse for why we are spending a night at a travelodge. We only live about 30 mins from London, so she'll get suspicious easily!
