We arrive at MCO around 10pm on Thursday the 27th. Both Amanda and I will be bringing our laptops since we both are taking online classes. We have to do homework and check in while on vacation.

And yes, I will be on the Dis. I can't help myself. I am a Dis addict.

I dont leave until cruise morning so I am really praying for nice (no rain) weather out of Chicago. We land in Orlando at 11:40 so I am going to pick up my luggage then head to Disney transport...catching the cruise bus there...I decided to get my luggage, as I am so worried that someone will pull the disney luggage tag off and I have no clothes for the cruise... so I will take the extra few minutes to pick it up myself

Busy day at work today.....but tomorrow is "hump" day and hopefully the rest of the week will move quickly.

Well some of you guys are getting ready to leave, I still have "counting today"
8 more working days......but we are down to 11 days till we cruise......
My spare room is such a mess right now....between the bed being full of clothes and the floors with suitcases...you can barely walk in there, then when I remember something I go and thow it in there....what a mess but that is what I will be working on this weekend. I most likely will move everything down into the family room and then I can organize much better

I was thinking, I wish I had a spare bedroom to start putting things together for the trip. Then it hit me ! My oldest moved out and I can use her room even if I do have to go upstairs. I t sure looks like a lot of stuff when gathered together.

Well, I am glad I wont have to talk to myself for the last couple days!!!!

One day closer!!! A week from today we will be heading out to the Magic Kingdom. I still feel like I have lots to do so things can take their time at this point.

We're almost ready to board the AutoTrain Sunday.

I've got a full day of work tomorrow - I actually have to go into the Office in the morning for my annual performance review - and a few hours on Friday. Tracey has two full days left to work.

Pre-packing is almost complete. I guess I'll wait 'til I'm on the train to relax.

We got our FE in the mail today.

We're almost ready to board the AutoTrain Sunday.

I've got a full day of work tomorrow - I actually have to go into the Office in the morning for my annual performance review - and a few hours on Friday. Tracey has two full days left to work.

DH and I talked about taking the train - I would love to but from here I think not only is it a pretty pricy mode of transportation, it would take time that I would rather spend at the parks or on a ship.

I am happy to report I do not have another Dr.'s appointment until after we get home, today was the final one. Yahoooo! I have a hyperactive thyroid and need to take a radioactive iodine pill but they won't even call to schedule the procedure until after we are gone. They have my cell and if they can reach me in the park OK and if they can't so be it. The low iodine diet (no shellfish - not sure I am gonna go on that little 2 week diet until after lobster night) is a real downer.

Well, guess I am going to get back to my packing/organizing and laundry. Enjoy your evening!

Morning everyone! Not much happening here other than the wind is blowing and it is raining. I have a full day today at the office and again Monday and I am done. We leave tomorrow morning for Ohio and DH's nephew's wedding. Then back on Sunday and the push will really begin. I have my pedi at lunchtime today, hair appointment after work tonight, and nails tomorrow before we leave. Sometime in there I need to get a bit of packing done and then finish up Monday night after work. It is all hanging in DS's bedroom (he is at college) so it is organized and should go rather quickly.

It is cold, windy and rainy here again today. The high is only 45 degrees. I'm not ready for cold weather. Esp. that 4 letter word that starts with a "s". I can't imagine trying to use a walker in that, so I need to get better before the flakes fly.

Got some more done on our FE last night. I just need to finish a couple of things and then we are already to ship the box.

This weekend Manda and I will start packing since that is not something I can do by myself right now since I can lift or bend well.

I just looked at the Port Canaveral webcam and today looks beautiful.

So you have to pack for two trips....that would drive me nuts. Have a safe trip tomorrow and enjoy the wedding.

I am so with you on this ugly weather - and the four letter word! But, tomorrow looks to be some better as does the weekend for us so that is good news. I have been watching not only the predicted weather in WDW for next week but Key West as well and that looks to be a rainy day. While it would be a first - I might just do a movie that day.

DH is painting our FE's as I type but I don't think I will be able to get them out tomorrow so it will probably have to wait until Monday.

I was upposed to sleep in today. Why does that plan never materialize? My oldest called at 6 something to say she needed a doctor appointment cause she had a UTI
Okay but they don't open until 8am for me to call for an appointment. She said she would be here in an hour, but now I was awake. It was really good to see her even if I had to take her to the doctor. So she had her apointment and then off to the pharmacy where I got to pay for her meds and a bunch of make up and such
Lucky me!!

She laughed out loud when she all the stuff I have cluttering her old room waiting to be packed.

I have to work the next 4 days (41 hours) so Tuesday will be a day of rest. I work Wed and then I am off on vacation. Thur I am getting my hair cut and then Friday we leave in the afternoon.

Can't believe we are finally ready to go. Tomorrow will be spent running last minute errands, touch ups around the house and final packing. We will be up early on Saturday and hope to be on the road to Orlando by 7 am. I am not looking forward to the 10+ hour drive with my DD5. She can't stand being in the car for more than an hour at a time so I'm sure it will be a long, long, long drive. (Thank goodness we have an entertainment package in the van, maybe I can ply her with a new movie to keep her calm ).

Well, I'm not sure if I will have time to long on tomorrow or not but I will definitely be online while we are at WDW.

Hope everyone has a great evening and I can't wait to see everyone next Saturday.
