Hallmark Movies ❤️ comfort & joy

I am so far behind, still working on Christmas 🎄

I watched Ghost of Christmas Always, and I loved it! A very fresh and fun take on the Scrooge movies. I hope there are more reimagining-type movies for the 2023 season 🎅🏽🤶🏽

Yes, that was one of my Christmas favorites last season.

:thanks:all with a Monday:grouphug:for the Wedding Cottage review. I will check it out. Dad and I will shortly be watching more of The Blessing Bracelet which we're thoroughly enjoying. Such a sweet movie with an adorable :dogdance:named Lolly (I wonder if that's short for Lollipop🍭) in it, too. I also love, as I shared earlier in the kindness thread, that this movie is such a refreshing change to have both sets of parents of each main, Ben and Dawn, are healthy and positive. Of course, I so enjoy the extra faith shown in the church scenes and Dawn's friend is their church coir director. Really all of the actors are doing a great job of bringing their small town and stories to life. Looking forward to watching the rest. I will share more thoughts when we have.

Absolutely loved The Blessing Bracelet all-around a beautiful story of faith and community. Highly recommend. It reminded me of The Gift of Peace. This movie was one of the only movies, I've ever seen, where the movie just got better and helped my own faith grow. I will reach out to Hallmark to share :)

I just watched Jolly Good Christmas, with Will Kemp. I did try to get into this one, but I just couldn’t. It seems like it could have been a lot funnier. The leads didn’t have much chemistry. Maybe I wasn’t in the right mood, but this one wasn’t for me. 🤷🏽‍♀️

:hug:Worfiedoodles, that does happen sometimes and in books too. May the next movie you watch be a lot more enjoyable📺

Have sweet dreams everyone and a good night.

I liked this movie too. Being an artist and crafter, I'm always up for seeing a movie which promotes combining fine crafts, (not amaturish level glue gun crafts,) with faith, aspirational or inspirational ideas.

I ranted about this one. I was really looking forward to this movie. Will Kemp, Will Kemp in his homeland city, what could go wrong? :confused3 Will Kemp doing a bad American accent and what he thinks are American affectations. :badpc:

Yes! It could have been excellent—why you would cast him as an American in London is beyond me 🤷🏽‍♀️

I just watched Noel Next Door. It was so much better than I thought it would be! Sometimes Corey Sevier can be hard for me to watch. But in this, he excelled. It was a new plot, with interesting characters, and a fun premise. Well done, Hallmark! 🎉🎉🎉

We Wish You a Married Christmas kept me entertained this afternoon. It was cute, and I always love Kristofer Polaha. I was not a fan of the female lead. I’m not sure if it was the character or her acting, but I wouldn’t have wanted to be with her…I think I’m now back to Autumn movies in the DVR. Maybe I’ll make some progress in them before we start Christmas 🎄 in July again 🤣🤣

About 1 minute in I knew I was going to love this movie, and my opinion did not change. I love the movies where people aren’t perfect, but they do try. I thought it was very well done overall 🥰🥰🥰

What we long suspected, that Mystery 101 has been cancelled and there will never be another episode to end the cliffhanger, has finally been confirmed.

On April 23, Hallmark made a post on its official Hallmark Movies & Mysteries Facebook page when HM&M was doing a marathon of Mystery 101 movies.

One fan, Gerri Bartow, commented, “Love this series. Wish Hallmark would start again with another series.”

The official HM&M account replied, writing: “We loved making “Mystery 101” and we’re so glad you enjoyed sleuthing along with us. We want to let you know that our talented sleuths have solved the last mystery and are off the case. In the coming weeks and months there are exciting new mysteries on the way that we know you’ll love!”

This was Hallmark’s first official announcement that the series was canceled, even though it ended on a cliffhanger.

Kristoffer Polaha, confirmed the news with fans on Twitter:

“Well kids, looks like the cat’s out of the bag. #Mystery101 has solved its last mystery. You are the most incredibly supportive fans ever! We LOVE you! @JillWagner @robinthomas101 & I had the most amazing time entertaining you by bringing Travis, Amy, & Graham to life. But…😉

I wish I could say I couldn’t believe they would leave us hanging off a cliff, but unfortunately I don’t trust Hallmark to take care of us 😢 I’m not shocked but I am very disappointed 😔

Yes, that's exactly how I felt. Their egos to make their own movies & series is more important than doing just ONE more movie to finish off a cliffhanger of a great series for US. >:( :sad2:

It's the same with the Crossword Mysteries. It didn't end on a cliffhanger, but Brennan Elliott had said in an interview that Crossword Mysteries has definitely ended, even though he and Lacey may be starring together in new mysteries.
