Hallmark Movies ❤️ comfort & joy

They left it as a cliff hanger. Insert all dirty words

I figured after you asked if there is a sequel coming. I haven't seen the movie yet. Sometimes I'd rather record it so I can watch it and speed though all the commercials.

Was it at least good - up to the cliffhanger?

I'm also wondering if they shot two endings, if there is a real possibility that they won't do a sequel. :scratchin

I read an article that said The Good Witch finale filmed two different endings. One if the series might possibly continue. And one (which was shown) if it was the end of the series.)

That means The Good Witch was cancelled too, since it also could have kept going. :sad2: Hallmark, at least, gave it a finale. :(

So not a new one but one of my faves is InLawfully Yours. Chelsey Crisp is fun and charming balanced by the awkward pastor. Its not the usual story but its sweet. Its often on UP TV. I am watching it DVred right now as I dont have much new stuff to watch! Waiting for the 2nd wedding veil movie!

Really great coincidence that you mentioned a movie on UPtv. After I found some new, really good Hallmark-type movies streaming on BYUtv for free that don't seem to have aired anywhere else, ( i mentioned this in a previous post,) I began to wonder if there other good movies that were made that Hallmark didn't air.

I always assumed that Hallmark had more money and were able to buy better scripts and hire better actors, so they'd have better movies than the other similar channels: Lifetime, UPtv, Pixlr. I was wrong.

I found a few that were good, that were shown exclusively in Canada first, (where the movie production companies are based,) then were shown in the states on UPtv or Amazon Prime instead. And I'm researching free Tubi TV now, where some are shown there with ads. (Apparently Tubi is owned by FOX, so it isn't some fly-by-night company. :scared: )

I'll compile the few I've watched so far. Some of them have been uploaded to YouTube. The regular free YouTube, not the paid subscription. And some may still be on UPtv on demand.

There's an old Lacey Chabert movie "The Color of Rain" on HMM tomorrow 4:00pm (Pacific time). It's actually a true story, and doesn't have all the Hallmark glitz and formula, but it's pretty good.
I watched that last week. I really liked it.

I've watched it a couple times. It's really good. :thumbsup2

The premiere of The Wedding Veil Unveiled (Part 2 of the trilogy,) is on tomorrow, Saturday, Feb 12 at 8pm ET on the Hallmark Channel.

The trilogy continues with Autumn Reeser having the veil and bringing it to Italy to research it's origin. There, she meets Paolo, (the name of the character and the actor. :teleport: ) Paolo (the character ;)) is the son of a local lace-making family.

Autumn was the only actress of the three female leads in the trilogy who got to film her movie in Italy. Lacey Chabert & Alison Sweeney both said they were very envious 😍 as they had to film their movies here in the U.S. or Canada.

If you missed the first movie (Lacey's) or want to wait to see the whole trilogy together, Hallmark is doing a Wedding Veil marathon next Saturday, starting at 4pm ET with the first one. Autumn's movie is at 6pm, and ending with the Alison's premiere at 8pm ET.

I finally tried to watch (see where this is going? 😉) Lifetime’s “Christmas in Santa Fe.” Starring Mario Lopez I wasn’t expecting much, but I made it about 15 minutes in and decided I couldn’t bring myself to watch this drivel…Lifetime tried to make too many and it showed. No quality control!

I actually was expecting more since it was Mario. I figured they'd give him a better script and fellow cast to work with since he's supposed to be such a draw for Lifetime and has a fan following. Instead, the script was weak. Mario walked around with all this swagger. (It may be Mario, but I didn't think it fit a character in such a small town and as the owner of a little gift store.) And his sister was a screaming shrew, YELLING at him all the time. :headache:

GAC Family is premiering a new, original, Valentine's Day movie tonight, Feb 12 at 8pm ET / 5pm PT.

Harmony From The Heart stars Jesse Metcalfe and Jessica Lowndes. Jessica wrote the film, is executive producer, and performs several of the film’s original songs, which she also wrote and produced.

Description: In Harmony From The Heart, Violet (Lowndes) has a shot at her dream job of music therapist at a local hospital. There is one obstacle: Violet’s department chair Professor Carver threatens to prevent her from graduating unless she successfully rehabilitates a patient to speak again by Valentine’s Day – just two weeks away. The patient is the professor’s beloved brother, Charles.

Another hurdle is strong, stubborn skepticism about music therapy held by the man’s doctor, Blake Williams (Metcalfe), a local heart surgeon and, more importantly, Charles’ grandson. Feeling the pressure to create a near miracle, Violet uses music to traverse the mile markers of Charles’ life, and he begins to progress. Violet and Blake realize each of them loves helping people and their own hearts begin to open again.
