Attractions Magazine posted a video on YouTube showing a super close video of his face

From the picture on the video, he looks kind of lie the wizard from the original Wizard of Oz.
Regardless, I'll take my son to see it next month when we're there.

I think it's important to respect all of our presidents, even ones you didn't vote for. They represent our nation. There are presidents up there I didn't vote for, but once they were in office I accepted them as the leaders of our country.

I find if I try to see the good in everyone, I am a much happier person.

So, this post actually has me nervous. My 6-year-old is learning about presidents in school and I think she would like this. But are boos throughout the show common? I don’t know if I’m prepared to explain that to her at this young age. I would appreciate it if anyone can post personal experiences. Thanks!

I agree 100%. The robot of our President looks nothing like him and Disney should be embarrassed to come out with this figure after having over a year to make it. Something is not right here. It's terrible and Disney should be ashamed.

I can understand not liking a politician. I did not like President Obama, though I did visit the Hall of Presidents when he was President and I thought his speech as delivered by the animatronic was good. I am a fan of President Trump, so I am very much looking forward to the new show. But since there will always be people who strongly like or dislike any President, maybe after President Trump's term in office comes to an end Disney should go back to the old policy of only providing speaking roles in the Hall of Presidents to former Presidents. I think that people who strongly dislike a person who is President will feel less sting about it after a President leaves office.

I saw the lines from the soft open yesterday so I wouldn't be surprised if they do add FP+ at some point as they do for other shows though at the same time the theater as well as the pre-show area is a decent size capacity

The great thing about America is that I don't have to respect who I don't think deserves it. I do, however, respect my fellow Disney guests in the park as well as myself and would not boo and jeer at a robot to disrupt an attraction.

If there is booing, you can explain that our constitution gives citizens of our country not only the right to free speech but the right to voice disagreement with the government in non-violent ways and it is great to see people exercising their rights as they see fit. Perfect considering the new robot's speech is all about upholding and defending the constitution, right?

If there is booing you can say “it’s nothing, honey, go back to sleep”.

I have a hard time relating to someone who thinks HOP is boring. I can’t even imagine.

Maybe if were in another venue, but you really can’t see how kids & some adults find it boring with all else that MK has to offer? To each his own, but w/ time limited at times, it’s one we often skip & I don’t think we are alone.

I was at HOP this afternoon. The theater was maybe two-thirds full. Everyone was quiet and respectful for the entire show. A gentle ripple of laughter when we could see the Trump character for the first time was all.

Edited to add: DH did comment that the "double security" screening to get into the park may be related to the opening of HOP.
