Hi I am going to Disneyland in 4 weeks over half term - can't wait! :cool1: I have seen people talking about the Half Board meal vouchers but don't really understand how they work, where u can spend then etc. We are staying in the Santa Fe and will be eating out in the Disney resort each night. Will it be worth while getting the meal vouchers and will we save alot of money doing this?
Thanks

Yes, they cost £13 and are worth €19 so effectively you are getting an exchange rate of €1.5 to the £ when its actualy €1.1

They also have set meals that would come to more than €19 anyway, for example in Annettes you get a Burgr meal, Drink and dessert which would be about €25, still for £13.

There are 3 levels of HB though, you may want to go for HB+ which has a value of €25 or Premium (dont know face value) which would let you eat at more restaurants (Better standard supposedly)

The only HB restaurant in the village is Annettes, the others are Plaza Gardens and Agrabah cafe in the Disneyland Park, and one in the Studious (rendevous ?) plus you can use the restaurnats in Santa Fe, Cheyenne and Davy Crocketts Ranch.

I think you can use them at face value at any restaurant in the scheme.

Hi curly_whirly_tipz,
Elaine, Jackie, Elaine and Reid welcome you to the DLP DIS board :wave2:

We are a friendly bunch here so please join in on any other thread or if you have a number of questions then just start a new thread for each

If you have not had a look yet, DLP posting rules are here

DIS posting guidelines can be found here

If you intend having a table service lunch or dinner each day of your stay at DLRP, HB vouchers are definitely the way to go - they save you a lot of money, especially with the exchange rate being so low at the moment. If you have a DLRP brochure, the half board meal plans are very well detailed there, a member of this board (jillrobinson) recently posted this too :) -
