Whilst I was searching around other boards I found these links for Haalf baord options for all the hotels and the tailor made packages that were being talked about

Tailor made packages

Half board options

It would definately suit us but it is not on offer on the Spanish site yet.

They have upgraded the offer then :thumbsup2 , as I think before it was just for the Santa Fe & Cheyene but you had to eat in the hotels restaurants.

It seems much more flexible as they will take the cost of the half board against the more expensive places as well.

A very good idea, especially if you are on a strict budget. 15% is not to be sneezed at! :)

Can someone help me here.

I have booked via DVC for a 4 night stay, can i upgrade to the half board option, and if so how do i go about it.

I don't think Member Services will be able to help you with this option, but it might be worth giving them a call.

But I think your best bet is to call the official number shown in the link - 08705 03 03 03.

Have I read correctly? 13 pounds per meal? erm......bit much isnt it?

Not really? We ate at both the Plaza in the main DLP park and Annette's diner when we were there and both came to over £13 for just main, dessert and a drink.

I could be wrong but this system of board options replace tho old system of diner vouchers ore am I mistaking?

More or less but I think a lot of people like the idea of it being half board not just menu vouchers. I always felt that the vouchers were badly described.

I think it actually pretty much the same thing, its just been repackaged. according to the brochure you are given "1 voucher per person per night night booked"

Given?
In Holland whe have to pay for half board.
We always took the vouchers. You could eat almost every where and whatever you liked.
I think half board works the same.
Old wine in a new bottle?

I am no sure a lot of people understood that the vouchers could be used against any bill. The way they were laid out it appeared the they could only be used for the Menus. It wasn't until you read further that you realised it was possible.
Either way I like the idea that you can pay some food costs in advance.

Does anyone know if it is possible to buy vouchers or anything like the Disney dollars. When we toured the Marriot resort we were given several vouchers that could be used anywhere in the parks.
It would be great when I had spare cash to buy some of these vouchers.
Thanks in advance
