Half a Second from Cancelling, Help

I agree with other DVC owners comments. It is really OK to cancel, take the time to review and make a more informed decision later. DVC will still be there and they will gladly sell to you at a later date. Cancelling now also gives you the opportunity to look at the DVC resale market versus buying direct from Disney.

We looked at DVC for well over a year and created countless spreadsheets to evaluate the overall cost before we purchased. And we purchased resale. Even after all that work and purchasing resale, buying DVC is not necessarily a slam dunk from a cost perspective.

Finally - Don't buy DVC with the intention of using it more at RCI than Disney.

As many have stated, there are many other less expensive ways to do that.

Hope this helps...

Just getting back to everyone here and letting you all know I cancelled within the grace period thank goodness. It seem I won't get written confirmation but all monies have been refunded to accounts. I haven't had time to do any research but you can be assured I'll check in here first before reaching for my wallet. Thanks again to all of you.

Smart move, take your time, do some reading, ask some questions, decide what you really want and expect from the DVC.

DVC can save some people money but for others the repeated Disney vacations actually increases their vacation spending.
