Good morning team! Hope everyone had a great weekend! We had warmer weather but lots of rain. Woke up this morning and it was snowing! Luckily it seems the snow is confined to the 'burbs because it's only raining downtown. I'm off to the gym and training tonight and hoping it warms up for tomorrow.
Margie - I got your e-mail last night but didn't have a chance to look at it yet. I went to a couple of scrapbooking stores over the weekend but they don't have much in the way of running embellishments.
Eva - Congrats to you and Jordan on joining the gym! I find it's always a lot more fun to work out with someone else! I didn't know you were taking night classes. Is it for work or personal interest?
Dave - Ouch! I always gain in the winter too. I find there are a lot of rich comfort foods like mac & cheese and apple pie and ice cream that are hard to resist. And on days where it's really cold, I'd much rather watch a movie and snuggle with my guy than hit the TM
Jack - I stayed at the Poly last time. It was really convenient and easy to walk over to the TTC and hop on the monorail. I don't have experience at staying at the other resorts (over marathon weekend anyway) but have heard that the bus service is great. I booked my room back in July - at that time all the club level rooms (except for a few) were taken but they still had plenty of regular rooms.
As for the NB shoes, they're pretty similar to the Asics. They had fitted me for a 7.5 but that was too tight for me. I could feel my toe hitting the front of the shoe and I knew it was going to be too tight. The size 8 was great! Which is the same size I wear in Asics.
Mary - More

for your DD! And for you too!
Scott - Taxes! I still have to finish mine - it's one of those things that I don't want to work on but want it out of the way too.
Lynn - Do you have one of those little laptops? How do you like it? I've been looking for a replacement for my desktop. I think it's only got a couple months left on it.
Denise - I know what you mean when you talk about the Princess 1/2. But not having to do the race definitely makes for a more relaxing trip. That was really nice of Mark to spend the GC on the kids
Debra - Will head over to 'Ohana in a bit. For a mental health day - if I was by myself, I'd probably spend the money on a manicure. Or I'd go to the book store and pick out a couple of books and magazines. If I was with friends, I'd go to my favourite cupcake shop by a 1/2 dozen and have afternoon tea.
Ok that's it for me! Chat later everyone!
