Kim: I completely agree. I just can't keep up with these avid posters!
Vicky: Glad you were able to fix your frosting. That's where your expertise comes in. I can't figure out how to fix things when they head south. Hope you're able to get your runs in without pain. I had my first pain free run in a couple of weeks today and it was nice.
Eva: So happy to hear you're on the mend.
I hope the pups and Gage can behave long enough for you to heal.
Rick: You're doing so awesome with upping your mileage and lowering your running times! Great job!
The metronome sounds interesting. I bet you could also find something to download onto an Ipod that had that.
Kimberley: Great job getting your motivation back. I hope everything works out for you and you're able to go in January, but if not, maybe the next year. I know it stinks though, cause I couldn't go this year and I hated it.
Robbie: For marathon weekend last year (2011), I arrived on Wednesday, did parks Thursday with side trip to expo (only spent an hour there), all day Friday, Saturday from noon to close after the half, Sunday from about noon or 1 until 6 or 7, Monday all day and half day on Tuesday since we left that evening. I ended up getting a package because it was free dining, but wouldn't do that again. I just can't eat that much dessert and I like to eat a little bit many times throughout the day. So, next time, we'd get park hoppers through Undercover Tourist, unless Vicky finds that link to those cheap tickets again.
Dave: Great job!
AFM: Harrison is healed! He's doing great and has his first baseball practice this Thursday, so it's a good thing. He pitched last night in the back yard, and you can tell he's regressed without practice.
My sciatic nerve still hurts, but not like it did. I did a 2 mile run this morning after walking 7, and it was fast. I managed 7:20 miles. Of course, it's just getting harder and harder because of the heat. It's going to be 90 today, and it was too hot to run by 8 this morning. Of course, 65 is too hot for me, so I'm stuck until October. I'm heading to zumba tonight after taking a week off and then getting home for the game. Go Hawks!
I haven't heard anything yet about the nursing program. I still have 2 weeks so who knows. I have an interview for my scholarship tomorrow. It's supposed to be a formality, so basically, it's mine to lose. Everything else is going well.
Hope everyone has a good week.
