Hakuna Matada - Dashing through December!

Hi Team!

Lynn- Hope the house cleaning and tree watering went well. I can’t believe the fabric took a month to arrive. Is your mail system that slow? Or did holidays slow it down? How are the shirts coming along? That’s a cute idea to have a change of clothes for Duffy. How are your knees feeling? I hope keeping the weights low and doing twice the reps works well for you. You’re doing great getting those extra pounds off with the better eating and working out.

Tandy- I have been working on not over packing as much and for the most part I think I’ve gotten a lot better with it. This trip however might be a little different. I really hope your knee continues to feel better so you can continue with your training. It’s frustrating when it seems like it’s one thing after another with no relief. I hope Harrison enjoys his trip to Denver and does okay on public transportation by himself! Is he excited about the trip? That’s awesome you are going to accompany Frank to Europe!!! Have fun with your planning! I’m sorry to hear your dad is in the hospital again. I hope Harrison enjoys his last hurrah of eating all that food!

Elizabeth- Thanks! We will be staying at POP. I hope your run today went well!

Vicky- Haha, yes that would be so nice! It does not surprise me your mom would nitpick everything. I’m glad you and your sister had a good time anyway! That’s awesome you will be able to leave early on Tuesday.

Emily- Enjoy the touristy stuff with the in-laws today! Good luck on your run tomorrow.

AFM, I plan to run this evening and again tomorrow morning. Still have things to do over here, but I feel like I am making progress. I don’t know that I will post tomorrow since we are leaving Monday so if you don’t hear from me that’s why. For those also getting ready to travel, safe travels and I’m looking forward to seeing you all soon!!

Have a Happy and Safe New Year’s Eve everyone!

Tandy: I hope you do not have to give up running. And I really hope to be able to meet you! I think 2012 is going to be a good year for you, and you will rebound strong!

AFM: I have been on vacation all week which has been fun and somewhat relaxing. I ran three days this week for 12.4 miles and biked another 9.5 miles. Kept it reasonable and fun so no injuries, thank goodness. Now I just have to bear the wait until Wednesday when we fly to Orlando! My first Disney races! It is still kind of hard to believe we are actually seven days away from the Half!

Happy New Year Dear Friends!!

Make this the Happy New You Year. May your 2012 be filled with all the magic and wonder this amazing world has to offer. May you have the courage to seek that magic and the wisdom to recognise it when you find it.

Thank you everyone for sharing your training, your stories and the trials of life you have been through this last year.

See ya soon.:cloud9:

Happy New Year! Best Wishes to everyone for 2012.

Happy Birthday Eva!

Safe travels to all. I will be thinking about you all on race day.
Enjoy the race(s) and your park time.................Sue

Good Morning Team! Happy New Year!

Happy Birthday Eva!

Vicky - Good call on the Dollar Store gloves, we have tons of those, Scott loves them. Yes, in Mountain Time Zone, we are 2 hours behind NYC, comes in really handy on New Year’s Eve.

Dave - Happy New Year to you also!

Sue - Happy New year to you also!

Tandy - Wind yesterday was 50mph sustained! Even at 50 degrees, that makes it very difficult to go outside! But it was also cold yesterday - I guess - I never even ventured out the door. Pixie Dust for your Dad!

Rick - Sounds like you have been using your time off in a good way! Have fun at your first Disney race - you will enjoy it!

Emily - I never discovered arm warmers (sleeves) until we started cycling, but I can see they would be useful in running also. I see you had an hour on us! The advantages of living West! Good luck on your first run of the new year.

Regina - I think the package, coming from Hawaii, got lost, it looked like it had been run over by a truck!!! I did not notice how he sent it, but it should not have taken longer than 2 weeks at the most. I am almost done the shirts, should finish today - then we can take down the Christmas stuff. Safe travels to you!

AFM - Did not even venture out the door yesterday - as I said - wind at 50mph gusting to 70! I think the high was in the low 30’sF. I did get to the spin bike for 30 min and 20 min of weights.

Pixie dust to all who are in need!

Have a great day team!
