Hakuna Kidani, What a Turtleful Phrase!

Going to make an attempt at pictures, but my laptop is dying, for sure. It may or may not make it. I plan to look at a new one tomorrow that's on an 18 month no interest plan. Hope it works out. :)

I left Bou-tiki and wandered around a bit.

We need to eat breakfast at 'Ohana again.

On the monorail.

And back to Magic Kingdom.

But only to switch means of transportation.

(Again, I could have gone in, but going in knowing the Jill and the girls couldn't just wouldn't have felt right, even though they were swimming and napping.)

Back 'home' to all of my animals.

I peeked into the master bedroom.

Nice bathroom.

Back to the balcony.

These little girls look a little tired.

Miss Anita Wigd had a critter to show the girls.

Love the critter pics! Cute shots of the Zebra scratching and that frog in the cup is adorable!

Loving the giraffe pictures! Also the one of the girls under the blankie! Too cute! And the zebra rolling around! Love it!

My goodness, that Miss Anita had no end of fun surprises for those sweet girls all that trip. What fun for everyone!
I have been avoiding catching up since we got back, because it can make me sad. You are always on my mind, but it's hard enough to catch up on laundry, work, etc. Anywho, now I am all caught up here, resort-hopping and virtual shopping and all, and ready for more whenever you are.

YOkay, then, if there is a night when the others are heading back to the room for sleep and my legs have it in me to do some hopping, I will text you. Don't feel obligated, but if you are in a hopping mood, too, at that time, we will hook up. :thumbsup2

Sounds like a plan! :goodvibes

WOW... that's a lot of animals. You could see all that from your balcony? I may have added another must do resort to the list. My girls would love that!!!!

And thank you for planning on taking some Contemp pictures for me...

And, if you so happen to be by the Wilderness Lodge fountain, I need another coin, please;) God may have other plans for us and I'm trying hard to accept them.

love the zebra rolling around and those sweet snuggly tired girls :thumbsup2 Hope the laptop viewing was productive, or as good as those things can be.

I'm back! I have been super busy but I'm all caught up. Loved the updates.

Im very excited because we might be going back to disney this spring. One of my family members rented a condo in March and invited us down. Hopefully it is near Orlando.

Hope everyone is having a nice day.

My friend's daughter is an animal keeper at AKL. I'm so jealous of her job...well, maybe not the getting up at 5 AM to scoop animal doo. :) I got to have dinner with her last month and it was great to hear all about the animals!

Non-Disney people here at home are amazed when I tell them that there is a resort where you can sit on your balcony and watch a zebra roll around like that!

The good thing about the pictures of my sweet girls is that I get to see them again when I put the pictures up on the reports. The bad thing is, it makes me miss them even more. :sad1: I would drive to AL Saturday, but I have to work. I will see them next Sunday for a little while when they come back through from Kentucky. I am so ready for a WDW trip where I can be with them every day! :cool1:

She was quite the recreation director during the trip. :)

We're close to finishing this trip out. It doesn't seem like many people are much interested any more, and I can't say that I blame them. We've been doing reports for about six years now, and people can only take so much silliness with the same people. ;) I enjoy seeing the pictures again, though, and for the few who do still check in, it's nice to hear from them now and then. A lot of our 'old' friends have gotten jobs or extra jobs since we first started, and we know that that takes us away or cuts out DIS time. Jill and I are busy, too, and don't have a chance to get here much, but we'll keep doing reports for those who do like seeing the pictures of our common happy place. We always enjoy it when we bring something new to someone. When a person chimes in and says they have never been to a certain resort and enjoyed seeing the pictures or that they've never done/noticed something in a park but will do so on their next trip, that makes us happy that we are making future trips more fun or interesting for someone else. :goodvibes

Sounds like a plan! :goodvibes

I bought my first SD card for this trip a few days ago. That was my first official trip purchase. I have to get enough pictures to last us from January to July! :)

Your girls would enjoy it. Yes, we could see all that from the balcony. We had a fabulous location! Again, we are so, so grateful for the kindness of our friends that we were able to have that experience.

The WL fountain is second to Gods plans, of course. I wanted to have five kids, but that didn't work for me, either. I have someone close to me who is going through a big disappointment right now, too, with a career situation, but I am trying to help him know that God has the whole thing in His plan and His time. Have you thought about adoption as an option for a third child? I will throw the coins, and we'll see what God decides to do with them. :)

I got a new one, but I haven't had time to do much with it. I got it on a no interest financing, so I was happy with that.

Well, if you go in March, you will have to share many pictures to help me out. I saw that Kermit and Miss Piggy will be incorporated into the Flower and Garden Festival this time.

That's a big pooper-scooper! :lmao:

Yes, it is. There are some big animals out there. My worst memory of a big animal and poop is from the Memphis Zoo. There was a hippo in the water, and she had diarrhea...... :crazy2:

How fun! I'd love to hear some stories. Maybe we could meet her in December? Brooklynn would be in heaven!

One morning when I was sitting on the balcony, I listened to what I think was a zebra in great distress for quite some time. The squealing was coming from the other side of another building, so I couldn't see, but I could hear. There was a lot of 'hollering' from the animal, and every so often you could hear a loud CM voice. I was so curious, but it sounded horrible. :sad1:

I so enjoy your reports! And I love your consistency. I've gone through job changes and adding a new little one to our family so my DIS time has ebbed and flowed, but any time I come back to the DIS, no matter how long I've been away, there is a MeMom trip report waiting for me. I love to see how the girls have grown and changed over the years and I love witnessing your relationship with them and especially with Jill - I'd be lying if I said I wasn't jealous of the mother/daughter relationship you two have. I've also spent countless hours reading old MeMom trip reports (when I've had the time) so I can see what fun I've missed while I've been away.

If it wasn't for you and your reports, I don't think we ever would have stayed at Pop! You are the one who put it so prominently on my radar. I also have you to thank for a little bite of heaven a got to have this past weekend - chocolate and caramel covered pineapple from Karamell Kuche in Germany. I don't think you've mentioned that particular snack, but your reports are why I ended up in Karamell Kuche in the first place!

I know there are many more MeMom touches in our Disney trips, I'll try to share them as I think of them. Your reports do have a positive impact. Thanks for taking the time to write them and share with all of us!

I'm still VERY interested! :cool1: You know this but I love your reports, it gives us the bit of Disney we need to have in our daily lives! :cheer2:

I love your trip reports! I love how everyone becomes so close over the reports. I love reading about your Disney adventures.

I had no doubt you would rock you evaluation and am SO glad the December trip is still on :cool1: Hoping that means Ohana for NYE is still a go too :cake: (OK, so I know there's no cake but they don't have a stuff my face smilie)

This is awesome news.

I have had very little DIS time in the last couple months and I am slowly, but surely, catching up on everyone's TR (including my own).

Love all your Poly pics and I know I've said this a million time, but you take the BEST gift shop pics. :thumbsup2

We are all busy but come here for the company, companionship, and to hang with other people who get it.
It truly is DIStown where we gather to share news, both good and bad. We gather to celebrate and mourn, to teach and learn.

We welcome others as they join us and miss those who have gotten too busy to stop in.Thank You, Thank You, Thank You MeMom and Jill for creating such a warm and inviting place to hang out.:goodvibes

I love the picture that you got of the zebra rolling around in the dirt. How awesome! I mean, I know my dog does that, but a zebra? Hilarious.

I will always love your reports and check on them regularly, even if I don't comment all of the time. I love this community that we have.

More wonderful pictures around the Poly.

And great animal pictures...especially the giraffes (my favorite).

Two sleepy girls...but such cute ones.
