Hakuna Kidani, What a Turtleful Phrase!

What a great score on that poster - awesome!! :cool1:

Those girls are just the sweetest. princess: princess: princess:

Can't wait to see you in a few short weeks! I feel like I am woefully unprepared for this trip; I need to get on it!

First, you can never have too many pictures of animals!

Or little girls

DIStown or Distown is still a magical place wherever it lives and it is nice really that it lives in so many places!

Please count me amongst those still very much interested in your trip reports. :wave2: I really love hearing about your trips as well as real life updates from everyone in Distown.

One thing I'm finding is that while technology is helping me to keep up on things it is inhibiting my commenting. I just find it so hard to type out a long response on my phone. So I have been following along as best I can and commenting in my head, if that makes any sense.

I know how much work it takes to keep TRs up and really appreciate all you and Jill do to create such a fun one. I will try to do a better job of "vocally" following along. :goodvibes

Animal Kingdom Lodge really is a beautiful resort. I've only stayed there once, quite some time ago, and you are making me think it is time to go back! :thumbsup2

I couldn't have said it better! I too, am here and love your reports :goodvibes

Which store had the figures to pose with? I missed it.

Great updates and pics.

Loved all the pics.

Your girls would enjoy it. Yes, we could see all that from the balcony. We had a fabulous location! Again, we are so, so grateful for the kindness of our friends that we were able to have that experience.

The WL fountain is second to Gods plans, of course. I wanted to have five kids, but that didn't work for me, either. I have someone close to me who is going through a big disappointment right now, too, with a career situation, but I am trying to help him know that God has the whole thing in His plan and His time. Have you thought about adoption as an option for a third child? I will throw the coins, and we'll see what God decides to do with them. :)

You know we have never talked about adoption. It hasn't occurred to us that we would have problems since we had our first two so easily. That is so naive of me, but this has been so eye opening. I need to bring that up and see if that could be a possibility.

How sweet! I'm excited to see what the surprise is! :goodvibes

So, let's make a deal - we'll get you through December with lots of pictures, and you return the favor in March. We had our first really cold day yesterday at 23 degrees. I do not do well in the cold. I do not like the cold. I despise/hate/loathe/detest/am not fond of the cold. :cold: Are you getting the picture? The only good thing about the cold is that it eventually rolls into March, when I go to Disney World to thaw out and recover. Not happening next year. I have to wait for Tennessee to warm me up in more like late April, and I have to make it all the way to July for our next Disney trip. This is not helping my mental attitude and abilities to fight through the cold that is about to settle in here. :upsidedow Soooo, it will help me a great deal if you and others send me lots of palm tree and flower pictures in March. :)

I definitely will. I can send you pictures of palm trees everyday, especially since I'm in South Florida. LOL! We will be getting a cold front tomorrow. It's suppose to drop down to the 50s. We don't have school tomorrow, but if we did my students would be dressed like a snow storm was coming. LOL! I hope they like what I sent. :)

I am still reading along. I mostly DIS from my phone so I don't comment as much but I still love to read about your trips and your family.

I have one SD card purchased for the trip. Other than that - nothing. This is a horrible week to be shopping, but I might need to get out and do some trip shopping anyway. December is packed full of busy-ness, so it will be time to go before I know it!

It is nice to have friends all over the country and even in other countries. :goodvibes Now when we hear something about crazy weather or some traumatic event that happens in another party of the world, we have an extra interest in it because we know people there or near there, and we have an immediate concern for them.

Lovin' your report! :)

Thanks! We hope you'll join us for lots of WDW Christmas pictures when the new one starts pretty soon. :santa:

Pin Traders in Downtown Disney. The girls love to pose with them.

I enjoy reading your trip reports, I just don't log in to post very often.

I know. Sometimes I take a quick peek, too, and move on. Time is such a big factor in life stuff these days.

Great updates and pics.

Loved all the pics.

Have a blast on your trip, Scott!

If I won the lottery, I'd leave my teaching job and work in the adoption field. I'd especially like to finance a home for teenage mothers to help them with education, childcare, parenting skills, adoption options, etc.

I drove home in snow on Monday and in sleet on Tuesday. I need palm tree pictures already!!!

Enjoy your days off. We are off the rest of the week, too. I am going to be productive part of the time and lazy part of the time. :)

I am still reading along. I mostly DIS from my phone so I don't comment as much but I still love to read about your trips and your family.

We'd love to see you again. I know those boys have gotten so big since our last meet.

Me too!!!;) There is only so much rest I can take. :lmao:

Luckily I guess the weather outside is ugly so I don't feel guilty staying in.

I love your trip reports and hope you'll keep writing them. It's so much fun seeing the kids grow up. We made it home on Friday and only had a little snow and ice in Iowa. It was cold though, 6 degrees and windy on Sat. when I went to see Catching Fire with the grandkids. We were so lucky to have mostly 80's and only one cooler day the whole time we were in Disney. Wanted to wish you a Happy Thanksgiving as I will be gone tomorrow to relatives, not far though luckily.

I could totally see you running an adoption home. I feel like there is something like that in Nashville. My old boss in Murfreesboro donated to them. But more that the kids stay with the teen mother in the home.

Caren, I just wanted to stop by and wish you, Jill, the girls and ALL of your family a very Happy Thanksgiving.

It was a nasty day here today. The traditional Thanksgiving football game at the high school was moved to yesterday because we were expecting 5 inches of rain, the field would have been a disaster! Grocery stores were packed yesterday, today was a boots and ball cap day!

Today was our big Thanksgiving dinner at the Anderson family abode. We had turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, dumplings, green bean casserole, corn casserole, fresh bread, and for dessert there was pecan pie and pumpkin crunch.
Tomorrow we will eat at my mother's...

Enjoy your time with family and friends!!!

Happy Thanksgiving. I hope everybody enjoys a blessed day with their family and friends.

It has been a cold, rainy, snowy, sleety week for us, but today the sun is shining and we are supposed to have a high of 42.

Happy Thanksgiving, pal!

I could not, should not, would not live in Iowa! We got down to 12 this week, but we are rebounding now, thankfully. I am hoping we can have maybe 60's and 70's on our trip.

I could definitely get into a job like that. ::yes::

Thanks for the fun picture. I know you are enjoying your family right this minute.

The grocery store will be the only place I go any time in the next 48 hours. I am hoping it won't be too crazy. since most people probably stocked up for the weekend already and most will be shopping for things other than food.

Sounds delicious!

Happy Thanksgiving. I hope everybody enjoys a blessed day with their family and friends.

That's what I came to say, too! :thumbsup2

Happy Thanksgiving to all of our Distown friends!:thumbsup2

Since I am not cooking today, I will share with you our Thanksgiving 2008 dinner at Chef Mickey's place.

The master chef greeting guests.

It was a very nice way to have Thanksgiving - no mess to make or clean up. :thumbsup2 We hope you are all enjoying feasts today with those you love, like, or tolerate. Be safe as you travel and shop an visit others. When this day ends, I guess the Christmas season officially begins! :santa:

Happy Thanksgiving! The Lions won, dinner was great and now we are waiting for Frozen to start. Terrific day
