Now that they offer hairbraiding on the ship, do you sign up for this the first day as you board (i.e. like Palo's and Massages)? If so, where? If not, how do you sign up?

On the Western cruise it is on Sunday. 9 a.m.-10 a.m. make your hair braiding appt at the goofy pool for the week

When do you make the appointment? When you first get on the ship or the same day they do the hair?

On the Western cruise you made your appointments on Sunday between 9 and 10 in the morning by the Goofy pool.

Now I understand! I thought you meant those were the times that the hair was done. OOPS! I didn't think that was nearly enough time! :D

Wow! The lines must be very long for that. Do they have many times to choose from? Is it done only on sea days?

It is done all week long, not only on sea days. The line wasn't that bad. They have alot of times to choose from. You shouldn't have a problem getting a time, but if you want it before tropical night (Wednesday on the Western) get there early.

this must be new,,,we cruised last summer and the hairbraiding was NOT offered on the magic yet. They did it on Castaway Cay and that was it.....How much does it cost? I bet it takes away from the hairbraiding usually done on the streets while at port??...but at least we know it's probably more sanitary.

My 10 yr old DD had her hair done headband style but braided to the end and it was $30 plus tip. Her hair length is a little shorter than the middle of her back.

Yep, it was introduced earlier this year on a trial basis. It was an instant hit!

Remember, it is NOT offered on the Wonder. I assumed it was after reading posts, and we missed Nassau due to the bad weather and we didn't want to waste our time getting it done on Castaway Cay, so when I called to see where it was offered on the ship, they told me it wasn't. My children were disappointed, because that was our last chance.
