Hair ties for fine hair?

Has anyone found hair ties that hold fine hair? I usually wear a clip but I don't find them comfortable in the park if I have to lean my head back on a ride. I have tried a few types of ties and they seem to slide down or I just can't wrap them around that one last time to hold my fine hair. Then pieces start falling out and I'm a mess. I also tried those squiggle pin things but I don't know if I'm not doing it correctly but they didn't work either. So if anyone can recommend something for my hair I would appreciate it! We are going in August so I don't think I will have it down very much at all!

I bought these flat type clips, set of 3 or 4 in hair aisle at a Walmart ..metal, in colors ( brown, tan, golden color) that truly work wonders. They are the type you press on to open. And close. There's a little bit of like a rubber type? That Grips to them to hold fine hair (and not a lot of it.) I took them off the card type thing they were sold from... so sorry no name that I know of, but I recall the pkg said good for fine hair. More barrette style maybe 2" and like an oval shape rather than straight.
If u have a ton of fine hair, don't think they'd work tho. Unless u want to pull back a section ( like half up from sides n crown)
Sorry hope I was somewhat clear.
Good luck!

Scunci brand no slip grip ouchless hair ties (They are usually flat and black and have a silicon layer inside to grip your hair)

I have very fine baby soft/silky hair and these work best for me. :)

Good luck!

I second the Scunci no slip grip ones. Also, I find my hair stays up better if I air dry--it seems to dry a bit rougher than blow drying. If I want a sleek pony tail. I put it up first, straighten just the tail while holding the band with the other hand, the run some smoothing cream through. It sounds more complicated than it is.

Another fine hair woman here. Even using the pony tail holders for fine hair, I still mess my hair up a bit in order for it to stay up. I spray it with Big Sexy Hair Dry Shampoo (works best!) and then put a little curl into it. Then my hair will stay up and out of my face.

Try the ones that look like old phone cords like invisibobble! They are marketed as not leaving crinks in hair, but I find that they hold really well even when not pulled to be overly tight in your hair.

When I still had long hair (I recently got it cut much shorter so not as much need to pull it up now!) I found those to be much better in keeping my hair up, because even though my hair is thick, regular hair bands slid out and I'd find half my ponytail had escaped after a couple of hours.

these are what I use. I got mine from Sephora.
