Are children allowed in the spa for a haircut if accompanied by a parent ? No one under 18 is allowed in the spa even for a haircut on RCCL . Never have figured that one out . Seems like they would welcome a child accompanied by a parent to pay for an over-priced haircut .

No, children are not welcome in the spa for a haircut. Get them a cheap cut before going on board.

On the one hand, you'd think they'd want the $ from cutting the kid's hair. On the other hand, spa appointments usually fill up, so a kid appointment would be one less adult they served. Some people go to the spa to get away from kids (I know, if you don't want to see kids, why cruise Disney, but....) Some kids handle things well, others squirm, cry, fuss, etc. So...the answer is NO kids in the spa area except for the time when they run the teen special.

Kid hair braiding is available on deck by the pool.

That makes sense about WHY they don't do kids haircuts... but some kids hair grows really fast! LOL And if you are doing a visit to WDW before the cruise and/or back to back 7 day cruises or something like that- I could see a problem with the kids hair too long eventually. LOL
I plan on circumventing this problem by getting the kids haircut the day before we leave to cruise- at MK! :)
