hair brading

is there a place to go to get little girls hair braded? My daughter seen this and wants to do it.

yes, there is hair braiding outside near the pool at POFQ.......I watched a girl get her braided one day while we were eating outside..........you get to choose beads you want....... not sure about the cost......

Had my daughters hair done in Cyprus last year. I found that all the hair that was in the braid broke off, so she ended up with a little patch of tufty broken hair. This was however was the wrap style where the hair is wrapped in a variety of silk threads which form a pattern, there were also some beads.

We let DD have her hair wrapped last yr. It was done at TL, I think most "beachy" resorts do it at the pool area. I think there was a place at Downtown Disney too.

We picked a spot behind her ear and she picked out 3 colors and the small simple beads. You pay by the inch and when the hair is pulled straight it can be quite long. DD's hair was just past her shoulder, I think it was $23.00. Some beads are $2-3 a piece.

We kept it in DD's hair for almost 3 weeks. The I cut it out and she still has it.

I think all resorts have it. They have been braiding by the pool at the ASMo and CB when I've stayed both placed. Also when I walked over to ASMu and ASSp, they were braiding by the pools there, so I would think you can get DDs hair braided at whatever resort you will be staying at. I don't recall seeing it anywhere at the parks.

I thought they only did hair wrapping, not braiding at the resorts? Has this changed? I am thinking about having my daughter's hair braided at my hairdresser before we leave, just so it will be out of her eyes and easier to deal with on vacation.

I have only seen the hair wrapping by the pools aswell but I want the braiding.I never thought to do it before we leave also is it hard to wash hair afterwards? Will it get messed up?

I got my dd hair braided at the BC and YC hair salon It cost 50.00 plus tip, they did a great job .

How busy was the salon? How far ahead did you have to make an appointment? My daughter would also like to have her hair braided.
