Oh Heather, what a great time at Chef Mickey's!! So many adorable pics and I love that Hollie was so intent on Chad hugging Goofy! So sweet. We love Chef Mickey's too, though we usually do breakfast. I forgot my makeup once on a weekend Trip to Vermont. Ohmigod was my husband pissed. Theres NOTHING out there in the backwoods of nowheresville... we had to drive for MILES and I had to settle for a drugstore. Needless to say, the only pictures brought back from that trip - were postcards!

COMPLETELY understand the make-up thing. I do not go anywhere without full make-up. Lol at the sunglasses and head down as you went into Ulta. That would be me too! And way to go on kicking miss rude's basket out of the way!

Love your pics at Chef Mickey's. My fav pics from our last big family trip are of our (then) 1-yr-old trying to eat all of the characters' noses! Glad to hear you liked Chef Mickeys. My kiddos love it there but the reviews haven't been great lately. I make our adr's in May and have been trying to decide if we should go again.

Anyway, I am completely rambling. Can't wait for your next post!

We go to Chef Mickey's every single trip, we love it! We first ate there on my sister's first trip was when she was 14 months old (she's 18 now ) and have gone there every time since then. We usually go to Disney the same week of her birthday b/c it works out so well with school schedules and CM's is always where she wants to celebrate her birthday. I think we'd all have withdrawals if we didn't go

It is! its one of our favorite places!

ha ha She never said dada or daddy or anything like that. It was always daddo ha ha We have never heard anyone else call their dad that until one time Chad and I were watching Gene Simmons family jewels and that is what his kids call him sometimes. too funny!

Yes! I think you have to buy the picture first in order to get the number. You might could ask them if you could just get the number off of the picture. There is a number that starts with evnt printed on the picture. You just put that in when you add your photopass card and viola!

So glad you enjoyed Chef Mickey's. It's just the classic character restaurant, I think. If anyone is going just for a few days and has only one character meal, this is the one I tell them to do.

Hey everyone! I had planned on doing an update earlier this week. But it has been one crazy week!
My mom got sick Tuesday and we thought it was a virus. Nope! My dad ending up taking her to the ER Wednesday morning and they said she had appendicitis. Well, I left work to go up there. Once I got there to see her, they had her scheduled for surgery later that day. I am very, very upset with that hospital! The nurse came in at 4:15 to say the doctor was running late and would be here later. Well, she was scheduled at 4. Then they came back in at 5:15 and said that he bumped my mom and put someone in front of her because theirs was perforated. Well, my moms was too!!!! My dad was very ticked off as well as me and my sister. They finally took her back at 6:40 for surgery and because of them putting it off, her appendix ended up rupturing!! She was very sick that night and all day yesterday. She feels a little better this morning but still feels bad. now they are trying to send her home today. I am so glad my sister is up there because she is very outspoken! My grandmother is there right now so my dad could go home and rest a bit. She does not need to go home today especially as sick as she was yesterday and last night. I am going up there today after work to deal with this. To say I am mad is a very big understatement!!! But, once everything calms down I will be back to do my next update!

What!? They really treated your Mom BADLY! I would contact a lawyer. Her condition was made worse because of their negligence! And now they are trying to push her out the door. Unbelieveable.

If you think she still needs hospital care, have her moved to a different hospital.

Well wishes for a speedy recovery. So sorry to hear all this.

It is unfortunate how rude that one lady was, hopefully you had better experiences with cast members and employees the rest of your trip. oh and I'm sorry to hear about your mom! My friends mom's appendix burst a few years ago and I remember how much longer it took for her to recover than it would have otherwise. (She's fine now). Hope you mom feels better soon!
