Hagrid’s post-express

We’re in Hagrid’s express line right now and actually think we prefer the old way. Somehow the wait is 180 minutes (I’ve never seen this??) and the line just sits in place. Maybe it’s just me but I would rather just see the line moving and know we’re at least getting somewhere. Standing in a dark tunnel for 10-15 mins at a time is just not great. Keep thinking the ride is down but the app doesn’t show it yet we continue to see 10s of people walking opposite the line to leave.

Maybe Hagrid’s just wasn’t ready? But this is just one data point of thousands. What have you all experienced thus far?

Used Express a couple times on our last trip in September.
Waited maybe 15-20 minutes while standard line was 120. I'm ok with it.

So sad they let it go on Express. Knew the Standby times would explode. They should have left it alone.

Even before Express was there, the standby line tended to move in fits and starts. It can only have gotten worse.

It wasn’t down. Wait ended up being around 1.5 - 1.75 hours. Seems like they fill the pre-ride queue with one side of the line or the other which is what causes such massive periods of limited movement.

It was Express. We’re doing Epic today and plan to give Hagrid’s a shot again tomorrow morning to see if it’s any better then.

We had a much better experience yesterday morning as it only took around 30 mins to get through. But I was actually reminded to report in it because I just saw this from last night. Wow.

I rode Hagrid's multiple times last Sunday and Thursday and never had to wait more than 15 minutes with the Express Pass. You were very unlucky.

I have a feeling fall break and now Columbus weekend are playing into this.

I would have said something. Before there was express for Hagrid’s we were in a non moving SR line. Like not moving for 25 minutes except for people leaving and the ride was not down. I commented on Universal Orlando’s twitter feed and the line started moving with in 5 minutes. They tried to downplay it, but they got the line moving.
