Well my babycakes lost his other front tooth today! so know both are gone. i can not even believe how stinkin' adorable he looks!!! OMG.

we have had quite a day. we went to sturbridge village with my bil and sil. the very 1st time he has gone anywhere without us. it's been a trying week for me. i was not sure i was ready to let him go. he's never slept over anyone's house. it was a big deal for me. so after much discussion he went and had a complete blast! they are so good to him, so i knew in my heart of hearts that he'd be fine, just it was my 1st time letting go. we both(bubba and i) survived so i guess next time will be easier.
thanks for letting me share!

and the tooth fairy is coming tonight!!!!!!!

that's great. so how much does the tooth fairy pay in your house for a baby tooth? ours does two shiny quarters.

trish

dh and i are discussing how much??:confused3

Congrats! :) My DS just lost another one...she brings coins from foreign countries. No "real" money, just foreign coins. My DS loves it. He usually writes a note and the tooth fairy has to answer it. :scared1:

coins from foreign countries is cool! what a neat idea. i'm thinking tonight i might put a little purple glitter down on the money and near the bed to make it look like pixie dust????

Our tooth fairy always left a Disney dollar. ºOº

Po3, yesterday should show you that you are doing a great job with your little Bubba. You are teaching him right from wrong, he had an opportunity to go out with relatives, he did great and had a great time!

Did they take pictures? As a scrapper, I always worry that I am not getting the pictures when DD has a field trip and I am not there. I have often bought throwaway Kodak cameras to send to camp or on field trips, with the hope someone will get pictures of her.

My sister's tooth fairey always left a movie for the first tooth and then dollars after that. Here the tooth fairey leaves a dollar but when they lose a tooth a Mimi's house, the one dollar turns into a ten. They now save their teeth for Mimi's house. :rotfl: That'll teach her. ;)

Congrats on surviving. The first time eldest left me, I cried. I had little bit in my belly so I blamed him for my emotions. :rolleyes1

yes he did do great! they treat him like gold. they don't have any and will not ever have any. so this is all they have. it's my dh's only brother. it was very hard for me. i was so shocked when they brought him home she took out her camera and said wanna see the pics? oh yes i do! then she said she would email them to me. then late last night she emailed and said she would just print out a set for bubba to have. YIPPEE. there was a really good one with bil and bubba with the red coats. i'd really love to have that one!
that throw away camera idea is a good one!

well the fairy ended up leaving a 5.00 bill! i know, i know. but we left him a 5.00 for his other front tooth, so from now on out he will get a 1.00. my mom just called and i think she's bringing legos from the fairy at her house. that's what she told him. so now he thinks the fairy comes to both houses!!!:scared1:

thanks guys for not thinking i'm nutty over worrying about my bubba on his 1st time away. i thought it was just me being over cautious! - or that's what dh said anyway! -he was ticked that i called to check on him!- he does not get it.-:confused3

we do glitter too...DS woke up the other morning covered in it! He must have rolled over onto the spot (which was super far from where he was sleeping) and he had it in his hair, on his eyelashes...he said (remember he's 8...) that fairy must have wanted to get a closer look at him!:lovestruc

Tell him congrats on loosing a tooth- I love it when both front teeth are missing! DD had the front teeth and two bottom teeth (not the center ones, the ones next to that) missing all at the same time and it was around the time of school pictures. I love that picture!

The tooth fairy came for the first tooth that she lost. Then we went to WDW and Tinker Bell visited us there and left little gifts. So when we got home, DD lost another tooth and DH suggested that I call Tinker Bell to see if she could come for the tooth fairy. So now Tinker Bell comes and brings little gifts unless DD looses a tooth unexpectedly and mom didn't have any little gifts on hand so then the tooth fairy comes. And there is always fairy dust.
