Had to Reschedule...

With only four days to go, my DH and I have decided to reschedule our trip due to Hurricane Wilma. We live in South Florida so our house needs to be attended to and the uncertainty of whether we'd even be able to travel was just too much for me to take.

So....after six months of planning I have to reset my countdown from 4 days to 109. We are now not going until February 6th. My consolation from my husband, we upgraded from CBR to AKL with the Savannah View!!

Any idea on crowds? We were there in February of 1998 and there was no one there, but that was a long time ago.

At least we're still going, just three months later.

I think you made the right decision for you and yours.....I am watching the weather and watching this hurricane heading to Florida and are thinking positive thoughts that maybe it will just turn and go the other way out to sea... Stay safe!!!!

I think you made a wise decision. February will be here before you know it. As far as crowds, there are cheerleading competitions in February. We were there once during that time it was very crowded.

We are now going the 6th through the 10th, so it looks like we'll be missing the cheerleaders, at least I hope so. I know it will be chilly, but being from Florida, I'm actually looking forward to that.

February will be wonderful. We went from the 7-15th in 2003. It was our best trip to date. The weather was perfect for the parks. The parks were really empty. It will be here before you know it!!

I hope you stay safe during the hurricane.

Sorry you had to reschedule but on the bright side, at least you didn't have to cancel completely. And you got an upgrade. All of us here will help you pass the time with lots of Disney talk. In the mean time be safe and take care!
