Had a code attached to my name...

last year in Feb., that's when we made our wedding reservation. Just wondering what the likelyhood of having a code attached to my name again around that timeframe. Anyone ever checked on that before?

I think it is all very random. Like the postcards that folks are always hoping to get or email codes. I got three postcards back about 8 years ago with codes after my first trip which I also stayed off site on. Didn't know at the time what a "big deal" it was supposed to be. Didn't matter as we save for our trips so that we have them paid for when we go, we couldn't go then anyway. Those were the only post cards we have gotten for WDW not a one since. I did get one over the summer for DL couldn't go there either as we just got back from WDW. Inquire about a code attached to your name but don't hang your hopes on it

Will Disney reservations automatically reveal there is a code attached to your name, or do you specifically have to ask a magic question, "Is there a discount code or PIN attached to my name?"

(Assuming, of course, one is lucky enough to have been gifted one of the codes.)
