All of these negative reviews on H&V for dinner has me *really* worried about my breakfast ADR. Truthfully, the restaurant doesn't appeal to me, so it wouldn't kill me to cancel it in favor of something else. But I scheduled it because it would get us into the park early, and because my ds would probably enjoy the characters.

Honestly...how is breakfast? Is it as bad as many say that dinner is? I'm not looking for culinary greatness, but a good variety of traditional breakfast options would be good, with maybe a few unique things thrown in. DS will probably want the Mickey waffles, I'm happy with eggs or an egg casserole or an omlette (sp?). Add some bacon or sausage and some type of breakfast potatoes, and we'd probably be happy. DD would probably be tickled with some type of muffin or pastry. And, honestly, dh's favorite breakfast item is biscuits and gravy.

Thoughts?

We did H&V for breakfast in '09, and we're doing it again this trip (next week). We really enjoyed it. It was NOT a crowded meal at all, so we got a lot of interaction with each character, and some of my very favorite pictures/videos from that trip were taken there. The food was nothing to write home about, but definitely not terrible. DS ate Mickey waffles, and DH and I had eggs, potatoes, biscuits, etc. The line was easy to get through because it wasn't very crowded. Also, you can't overestimate how nice it is to get into DHS early. I am glad that they have switched the characters to Oso and Manny because DS didn't really know who JoJo and Goliath were. :)

Enjoy...I think you and your family will like it.
