Gum Chewing

Why? It's a habit I've never gotten into, even as a kid. What brought this to mind was that on my way to work this morning, as I lifted my head from the newspaper, 4 people across from me were chewing away. These were all adults, not teenages. Guess I just don't get it.

I have never gotten into the habit either. When I was younger my Dad wouldn't let me chew gum (thought it was un-ladylike looking) (sorry all you gum chewers, he said it, not me!)

I also had an aunt that chewed gum all the time and cracked it constantly. That bugged the heck out of me so I just decided not to chew.

Now chawin' tobacci, that thar is a totally different (whar's the spitoon?)

I chew gum all the time! And I crack it, too!

I was doing that yesterday... cracking my gum ehre at work... I told them I was planning on driving them all crazy! LOL I am a gum chewer because if I don't chew gum I'll eat. esp here at work because I am sooooo bored!!!

Also, I am a big gum snapper and I drive my co-workers NUTS!

I buy the big ecomony packs of gum and chew away!

since i quit smoking, gum chewing helps me not start again, and also not eat instead of craving a cigarette.

I can't stand gum. It doesn't bother me when other people chew it, as long as they're not incredibly obnoxious, but it makes me sick to chew it for any longer than 10 or so minutes.

I'm am chewing gum right now. It doesn't bother me when people do it as long as they don't snap, crackle or chew with their mouth open (that drives me crazy to hear & see). It inadvertently keeps me from snacking and I prefer the fresh minty taste it leaves in my mouth

I chew gum from the moment I get in my car on the way to school, until I brush my teeth before bed. I'm not a cracker though. I do it for 3 reasons: it takes the place of smoking, it takes the place of eating and I love the fresh minty taste. As soon as the fresh, kissable taste wears off, I get rid of the old piece and pop in a new piece. I chew Arm and Hammer Breath Freshening or Teeth Whitening gum, all day and night.

When I study for a test, sometimes I pull out the big guns -- bubble gum!! I get lost in my books and notes and chew and blow bubbles like mad!!!!! Stress relief!!! I'd rather drink an Irish Coffe to relieve stress, but Bailey's makes studying really hard.

two girls that both say they can't chew gum they swallow it.
One went on a diet and got the stripe kind and said she ate the whole pack before she got home. LOL

I love to chew gum, but I end up swollowing it within five minutes most of the time. The only one I don't do that with is Bubbleishious Island Burst.

I love gum... mostly because I'm all paranoid about my breath and I just love to have a yummy taste in my mouth in case some cute dude comes around. My favorite kind is Dentyne Cinnamon.

I keep Dentyne Cinnamon at work to freshen my breath after lunch. But I have to be careful, because I have a habit of eating gum.
