Guitar shops!

Don't know if this is the place to ask but my son (& Hubby!) is guitar mad. I wondered if there are any good shops that would sell electric guitars near international drive area? Any advice gratefuly rec'd!

Georges Music is on I drive (Mandy will be on later and I am sure she will tell exactly where it is), it is great shop with a real DeLorean inside (the car from Back to the Future).

They have a great selection of instruments and the staff are really helpful. We bought Becky's new Bass on the last trip and it worked out so much cheaper even with buying a travel case and import duty. They even ordered her in the colour she wanted within 5 days.

They also own the Guitar shop at Downtown Disney but that only has a small selection of items.

the music store in downtown dis is good if u are after something unique and have very deep pockets hehe. If you are looking for a good shop there is one in winter garden which is bout half an hour away from kissimee way. i can't remember the name of it now, so i might have to think about it. I play bass as well so let me know what your son is looking for or eventually buys please hehe

hiya yes as mark said, georges (who also own the shop on DD btw) is on IDrive and they are so helpful! They even ordered Becky's BC Goodrich Bass in a special green for her and it was shipped to the Orlando shop in time to pick up before we left

The shop is down a little turning off IDrive, opposite W & W. I think theres a Golden Corral nearby You can see it from the I4 too

any other help just let us know.....good luck! we'll be out there at the same time as you!

We bought a fairly solid case that the shop said would be fine for the flight ($60). Checked it no problem.

I then went through the red channel, walked up and declared the guitar, showed the receipt, he took off my allowance £125?? and I paid duty on the rest about £30.

Even with the case and the duty it was about £100 cheaper.
