Guiding Lights 70th anniversary is tomorrow and they will be doing a special show to commemorate it

I think they are redoing a show from "way back when" but with todays actors and actresses playing those parts. I think I'll TiVo it.... looks kind of interesting and it will show how much tv has changed!

YES!!!!! I watched and cried like a baby!! I've been watching since I was little(with my Grandma) and now I have my daughter watching it too.

The Tammy character annoyed me lately so I'm glad she's gone. Guess I'm just icy cold! It's too bad Tom Palphrey (Jonathan) is going though - didn't he end up winning an Emmy last year?

I cried because Tammy died and Jonathan is such a good actor- it just broke my heart. Cassie too crying on the floor got me.

Oh no!!!! I didn't mind Tammy leaving, but Jonathan? He is such an awesome actor, I don't remember if he won the Emmy but he surely deserves it. I too cried during today's episode.

I normally don't watch GL (used to years ago), but started catching an episode here and there the past month or so.. Then yesterday I missed it, but saw a commercial for this week's shows and was wondering if I missed the "sad event" yesterday - or if it was on today.. I taped today's show, but haven't watched it yet..

One thing I'm confused about.. Lizzie was ranting and raving just before Jonathan and Tammy got married that they were "cousins".. Can anyone fill me in on that?

If Jonathan is Reva's son and Tammy is Cassies daughter that would make them cousins (Reva and Cassie are sisters).

Cassie did...Reva and Cassie are Half sisters,which I think makes them half-first cousins
