At first when I read that there were no tiers for this testing go-round, I was happy, but then I thought about it longer, and I'm not sure anymore.
I want unfettered access to Fastpasses, but at least when there were tiers there was a "spread the wealth" aspect, which would have made getting at least one E-ticket FP a little easier.
With no tiers, its going to be a feeding frenzy at 8 am 60 days out, and anyone with slow fingers, or who is slow to plan their trip, might be shut out....
Disney, if you are reading, I love the magic band, I like the idea of booking FPs with my phone and not having paper bits everywhere and running all over the park, but PLEASE let me do it the day of. Just open the FP booking at 9 am the day of, that way people who want to sleep in can just punch it in from the comfort of their beds, and then roll over and catch some more zzz's, and I can punch it in from the comfort of Main Street- see everyone is happy!
I gotta believe that Disney will restrict the amount if prebookings in a way that allows availability to be more evenly spread out. Peiple complain now hen the current FPs sell out for the day. There will be utter outrage if everything for Fast Pass+ is sold out due to prebookings in advance. Its a pretty obvious pitfall that I'm willing to beleive has already been thought if and planned for by Disney
Robo, you messed up, I don't see Stitch's Great Escape under the High priority category.
Robo, I'm going to have to disagree with Jungle Cruise being a low priority. Have you ever waited in that standby line? It sucks! It's a very slow loader, there's no air conditioning, and the queue is just roping with no interaction or anything to look at unless you happen to be on the edge of the sea of people.
I'd get a fast pass for that before I did Peter Pan. Peter Pan I can at least do rope drop and do all of Fantasyland pretty quickly. But I'm not wasting an early morning in Adventureland to get the short line at Jungle Cruise.
It may not be an E ride, but it's certainly a longer wait than Magic Carpets of Aladdin.

JC falls into the "I'll do it if I have time," kind of category for me...
YMMV

One day we're at AK in the a.m. to mid afternoon and then we'll go to HS for dinner and the rest of the evening. Since I know the FP will "sell out" at HS well before we arrive that evening I went ahead and got FP+ for that park. BUT this means I can't get any kind of FP for our visit to AK in the morning. Which leaves me pretty disappointed. We're going to have to race to EE and then race to Kilimanjaro Safaris. Basically we are stuck with stand by lines for that park.
Robo,
Just curious as to your reasoning why LMA was a M. I thought those shows never filled to capacity, except maybe the busiest days of the year.

...this is only a test, only a test, only a test....![]()
Also, once off site guests have access to magic bands, how will they distinguish resort guests for EMH? Will they go back to bracelets for EMH, but now resort guests will be wearing two bands?
