I read on a Disney Cruise Blog that on the Wish you need to make an appointment to speak with someone from that department or use the chat option. No more walk ups? Also at end of the cruise your folio with total charges are not delivered to your stateroom as in past cruises every thing is on your phone? I guess my only problem with this is disputing charges this could be a hassle.
Can anyone who has been on the Wish confirm this? Just curious.

Not sure when your last cruise was, but we’ve not gotten a printed end of cruise bill for many cruises now. The chat to make an appointment to talk to GS was also an option on the other ships, but was dropped and the lines for GS were in full force on the Fantasy in April. We zipped up to GS to inquire about things several times. Not sure about the wish, but maybe those protocols will be lifted later. Btw, you can view your bill on your smartphone and/or your in-room TV anytime you want. There is a pdf of your final bill on your phone account. I usually send it to myself to make sure I have a copy

Never sailed Wish but just clarifying that printed folios are no longer routinely delivered to staterooms on any of the ships. You can ask for one at Guest Services. On the other four ships, you can still walk up to Guest Services. Have a hard time imagining that you couldn't on the Wish, but I can only speak for the Fab Four.

These changes all came about when cruises restarted. In my experience over three cruises since then, the app never works right and Guest Services doesn't care if you just show up. You can ask them for a printed folio and if they can't print it, then you can ask DCL after the cruise and they'll email it to you.

The Dream had walk-up and appointment in June, with most people doing walk up. Every time I wanted to go to GS I was able to get an appointment right away despite the fact there was a long walk-up line when I arrived and no one in the appointment line. I don't think people realized the appointment option was available.

Count me in that. I've cruised twice since reopening and never knew you could get an appointment for Guest Services. I always just walked up, and there was nothing unusual about that as there was usually a line (usually short) of people whenever I'd go to Guest Services. I'm not that into the app, though, so probably would have figured that out if I'd really looked.

OP, you can of course call Guest Services from your stateroom phone, as well. DCL doesn't try to force you to only deal with Guest Services via the app. They still provide very solid customer service onboard.
