Guest services called about problem and what a surprise..

When we stayed at the Poly in December, we had a few problems that I emailed guest services about. I received an email back stating that someone would be getting in touch we me. Low and behold, this afternoon, a very kind person called and was very apalled at the problems we had and that they hadn't been taken care of then and there. After quite a few minutes, she said that they would like us to feel better about our vacation and she was sending me a check in the amount of 10% of our bill. I told her she was very kind, but we managed and it was ok. No, she insisted, we truly want you and your family to come back again in the future so the check would be in the mail. I was a little suprised about the entire conversation. She was so sympathetic and a genuinly nice person. She didn't want us to hestiate about making plans to come back.... So, we're going back again in December! Just thought you all would like to know that emails do get answered!

Yes, also curious about the email to email complaints to. I would not want anything for it but there are some things I think should be brought to their attention and haven't a clue who to contact by email.

I also received an email today from Disney concerning a CM that we encountered over the recent MLK weekend at the ASMO. It also stated that we would be hearing from someone soon. I guess I'll wait and see what the outcome will be.

Note: I also reported the problems with this CM to guest services at ASMO and wrote a letter to the resort manager. I haven't heard anything from the manager.
 

If you still have a way of contacting that genuinly nice person, make sure you speak to her and see if you can get the "Come Back" rate for December! ~:D~
 
I used the email address to guest services that Eljay stated. I emailed them on 1/13 and got an email back on 1/15 stating they would get back to me in about 2 weeks. I got the call from them yesterday 2/1, so I guess it was about 2 weeks. AND thanks SuzyQue for that tip. I will try and get ahold of that CM (maybe when I get the letter) and ask her about that. But you know what? Just thought of something. I had calls on my cell phone starting last week, with no messages left. When I tried to dial that number back it would not let me access it. That is the number that was up when the CM called me though. Strange isn't it? Oh well, came out ok in the end!
