Guest not qualified for FP and My Magic+ question.

First off TIA in advance, greatly appreciate any assistance that will get me out of a call to MS. I added my DD's BFF yesterday for our upcoming trip. She is a FL resident and will drive up for a couple of days. MS added her to the room, I linked her FL pass, all is good but MD won't let me add FP. MD indicates she is "not eligible for MyMagic+". Any idea why, has this happened to anyone else?
 
You should be able to do FP+ if the reservation was changed, you have added her to your family and friends list in MDE, and linked her park ticket to her in that family and friends list. If not, call to have fixed. When I added someone to our reservation about 45 days from arrival, I could not initially do FP+ for that person and got the same message you did. I discovered the issue I had is that the name I added to the reservation did not match, exactly, the name I put in the family and friends list (I gave full first name for the reservation and then put in the more common and shortened nickname for that first name in the the family and friends list, and the system promptly decided that they were two different persons and thus the ticket holder in the family and friends list was not treated as the same person in the reservation).I called and had it corrected. Don't know if that might be your issue.

I suspect her pass is what is causing the problem. If she has a Florida resident's pass, she isn't eligible for making FP+ reservations any other way than at a kiosk inside the parks.

I was on hold last night for 45 minutes, pretty frustrating. I finally hung up because I had an appointment. They called back just now to say they have added the FL pass and she wanted to confirm which FP tickets (days) I wanted copied for our FL guest. She said there is not a problem with obtaining FP+ tickets on her FL pass and she would take care of it for me. I checked MD and the FL pass is in fact now linked but there is an error message in the FP area for our FL guest. Not sure if it will take awhile to populate or if the MS/CM was incorrect. In any case, I am just done, it is what it is and I will worry about it when we get there. I just pray that they get some of the bugs worked out before our Dec trip. Vacation planning is not supposed to drive you insane.
 
So very happy to report that my MDE account does indicate that our FL guest also now has FP tickets and I can quit whining!
 
I did not think it was her FL pass that was the problem since my DB met us (FL pass) and I had no problem doing Fp+ for him. I did however spend close to and hour on the phone with MS prior to traveling since we had a total of 3 rooms over 8 nights and 11 people. The system just could not link us all, tickets, FP it was very frustrating but it did get resolved just wish it was something I could have resolved because I did understand the set up process and set everything up like I was suppose to! Again frustrating
