Is MDE wonky for anyone else today?

I'm trying to add FP+'s for a day that I haven't scheduled any for yet, and it won't let me complete them.

The first time, it told me my DS and DH had "reached their fastpass+ limit" which made me wonder if there was a limit to how many times you could pick one attraction across the length of the trip. (I already had Space FP+'s on two previous days.)

So then I tried a different park at which point it told me that DD had reached her limit. (That shot the previous theory since this was the only day I was even trying to pull Epcot FP+'s)

Any ideas?

I read in an earlier thread that this was happening after someone used the back button on their browser during the fp+ process. However, I have not experienced the issue myself.

I am having the same problem trying to make FP+ reservations for December 27-31. I was able to make reservations for me and my daughter for the first 3 days, but for the last 2 it said I had exceeded my limit. I proceeded to make reservations for my daughter and called the IT line. They said they are having some issues today.

I am also having an issue that I have seen before. The FP+ reservations do not appear correctly on the My Reservations page. But, if I try to change them, the reservations that I can change are the correct ones. There seems to be a problem in the interface between the reservation system and the user interface. When that has happened before to me it has resolved itself in a couple of hours.

Looks like a bad day for the system.

It's still in testing. You shouldn't expect anything to actually work.

I had trouble too but made it work

We all 3 have APs purchased at the same time (September 2013) so in theory we should have endless number of days with 3 FP+ per day.

We added a day to our November trip :cool1: so I was changing things around. We had 5 days before now 6 days - interestingly enough we had not booked FP+ for the 2 weekend days because we're participating in a MouseAdventure competition and we won't need them for those days. Basically I had only booked FP+ for 3 days.

SO went to do FP+ for the new day of the trip and it said that DD and I had reached our limit but DH hadn't. So I booked the FP+ for DH and completed that. Then went back in and copied the selections over to DD and I. It took 2 tries (I could tell they were having some kind of problem) but it did do it.

So now we all 3 have the 'new' day booked and I went in and played around with the other days (changed all but one of them due to the new arrival date) and everything worked there.

I'd suggest if you can book for one (or more people) do it and then try the copying and see if that works.

For me it was a challenge to decide where we were going to be and what to FP but I'm happy with the overall plan. Normally if we had walked over to Jungle Cruise and there's a long line we just grab a FP - now I have to plan in advance (BTW thanks Mesaboy I did refer to your list) what I firmly want to FP - ugh. Some things were easy - TSM, Belle's Enchanted Tales, Safari but others...were harder for me.

I got this on more than half of the days on my FP+ reservations. Using the back button, then picking the same option, usually fixed it for me... but sometimes, I would get the error message on one or more others in my party.

Just keep trying, and eventually, it will work. Well... it did for me.

I got the message after finishing the 7th day of my plans. I have an AP and was asked to get a MB for a Labor Day visit. I logged on and got 4 days "booked" for Thanksgiving and proceeded to "book" 3 more days (in December) for a total of 7 days and 21 FP+ items. When I tried to do it for the 8th day, I got the message. I don't know for sure but thought it might be related to a 7 day limit of some kind---but that was just a guess on my part.

Thanks, everyone cor the replies. Good to know it's not just me and not a rule that I wouldn't want to deal with! I'll try again after supper or tomorrow.

For me, it was an error message. And, as usual with Disney IT, an inappropriate one. Like one we might recall from almost a year ago..."you have no reservations"...ah, that was a good one. Caused mass panic and long hold times. And worse, sometimes the reservations HAD disappeared, so you did have to check. Most of the time it was just an inappropriate error message though.

When I got it, I used the MDE Back button, or maybe the MDE Cancel button, started over, the message disappeared and I was able to do what I wanted to do.

The problem I am getting is that I schedule my fastpasses no problem and when i go back to look at our reservations it shows that only one of us has a fastpass reservation or on another day only three of us (out of 4) has them.

Try going to My Reservations and try to change one of the reservations. When it comes up see how many people it lets you choose from. You might find that that shows everyone in your group having the reservation.

Sometimes there seems to be a disconnect between the reservation system and what shows on My Reservations. When that has happened to me it has always (at least so far) resolved itself within a day or so.

Thanks for this. I checked my reservations and when I clicked on the update link it indicated under the copy tab that all fastpasses were used for that day for everyone involved. Anyways thanks again! :thumbsup2

I also have this issue.. But we have AP

Is there a limit for AP? Even tho we are booked at the Disney resort?

I have the same situation. I also have an AP. It shouldn't be that way, but it appears to be another system bug that they are working on. Part of my problem may be that I have FP+ reservations for 3 days in November, and it's only letting me book for 4 of my 5 days in December. I had no problem booking my daughter for all 5 days; I'm hoping that the issue will be resolved soon and I'll be able to copy her reservations to my account. Maybe there is something lurking in the system that only lets AP holders book 7 days at a time.

Because it's still 2 months out I'm not too bothered by it, but it would be nice to get this finalized so I can forget about it.

I had that problem when I tried to edit my previous reservations. I found that if you signed out, then signed back in my correct reservations were there. It was definitely working better and faster on my iPhone than it was using my computer.

My husband was told on the phone today that AP's can book 10 days of FP+ and then once you use those you can book 10 more. Not sure if this is accurate or not. No one appears to know what is going on! Doesn't appear to be since we have a week booked in Nov with FP+ booked and have a week in Dec booked also.
