"Guest has reached FastPass+ limit?"

Question for you guys since you have AP and been booking. I have a resort stay but want to make Ffp selections a couple days beyond that stay but the site won't let me. Did something change or I am missing something? I have made selections for the resort stays already. Can you fill me in? Thanks!

I don't have an AP, yet, plan on upgrading, but AP users haven't been specifically tested yet. And, I think you have to have a resort stay at this point to be able to book FP+. So, if you booked FP+ already for days at your resort, then you can only book for those days you are staying at the resort and I don't think you can book past that for any days. I was told by a CM the other night that the next group to be tested would be AP holders, at this point she expected that to be after Jan 5th, as that's how long this current test is running, with all resorts just now being tested. Maybe after that, your situation would let you book for more days past your reservation stay.

That's my understanding of it at this point, though I could be wrong. Just sharing my understanding at this point. :)

Thanks for your reply back. Hey thoughts welcome here:-) I will say booking tonight went smoother than I excepted. I know some have had a bear of a time and hope all planning goes well for all.

Here is my issue:

I have an AP and a 3 day trip scheduled in November and a 5 day trip from 12/27-1/1.

I booked FP+ for the 3 days of the November trip a few weeks ago, and when the window opened up for the December trip yesterday, I tried to book FP+ reservations for all 5 days for both me and my daughter who will be with me.

When I got to the 5th day, the system would not allow me to make FP+ because I had exceeded the limit, but it did allow my daughter to make them. Just out of curiosity, I cancelled the reservations for the last day of the November trip because I'm not sure exactly what we will be doing that day. After I did that, I was able to copy the FP+ reservations that my daughter had to my account for 12/31.

If I go back to try to make reservations for the day in November, it shows that I have reached my limit.

There does seem to be a 7 day limit on FP+ reservations for AP holders, or maybe it is just for DVC AP holders, which we are. If that is the restriction for now., I can live with it because it is only an issue if you have a couple of visits in a 60 day period.

I still have an issue with some of the reservations that I made not appearing correctly on the My Reservations page. On one day, My Reservations shows just one FP+ reservation for just one of us. But if I try to cancel or change that one, the change screen shows 3 reservations for both of us at the times that I selected. My inclination is to just leave those and hope they eventually show up on the My Reservations list.

I like the concept of FP+, especially for travel at busy times, but this system is frustrating right now. Hopefully they will be able to work out the bugs.

Yup, this happened to me too. I always scheduled all of our party's fastpasses together. So it was weird when I had one day where it would let me book for everyone except DH. And then another day it let me book for everyone except my dad. Once I booked for everyone else and went back again to book for my DH the one day and my dad the other, at that point it let me choose fastpasses for them. And of course it was a pain trying to get their fastpass times to match up with everyone else at that point.

Did you try the MDE app?
To me, it seems to work much better & with much less errors.

I have tried both the app and the website and get the exact same results with both. My guess is that the system is unpredictable and erratic, and that if you're having better luck with one over of the other it is just a random occurrence.

seems now it's locked to resort stays. We have ap's

I have a back to back 5 night and 7 night and I can get those 13 days but nothing before hand.

at day 10 it acted wierd and as others reported singled out someone on day 11 that wasn't allowed. So i booked the others and just copied those over to the person not allowed. worked fine.

day 12 it singled out another guest and i did the same work around

day 13 same thing but with yet another guest.

bugs bugs bugs..

Last Friday we were able to link our resort reservations and tickets for an upcoming December stay. One of us has an AP, the other 4 a 4 day hopper.

Upon the VERY FIRST try of attempting to make our FP+ reservations we recieved "FP+ not available, try swapping another FP+ ressie from another day" message. Well, I discovered that if you hit the "back" button and then submit again, either another subset of our party becomes "not available" or --- the problem just fixes itself and our entire party is confirmed for FP+ for that day.

We used this procedure to pick 4 days worth of FP+ reservations. Chalk this up to the "whatever" column.....
