Guess Where We Are!!!

No, not WDW!

We are in Chicago! We decided to bring the girls up for the day and shop at the American Girl Place. They went NUTS!!!! Hundreds of dollars later, and more gray hair from the crowds, the girls are happy!

As we were walking out of the store, a lady stopped us and asked if she could take the girls picture. Turns out she is a photographer for Time (? possibly Life) and is taking pictures for an upcoming issue!!

Chicago is a great city, and we have had lots of fun. We walked down to the Navy Pier and had lunch at Billy Goat's "Cheezeborger, Cheezeborger, Cheezeborger." I know it was a SNL skit, but my question is, was the restaurant there first, or did it come after the skit?

It was great fun shopping, I must say! Although, I don't do well in BIG crowds...I get WAY claustrophobic!

I am hoping the girls get in the magazine! That would be so awesome! Of course, we would have to buy out the publisher that month!!

I was there last weekend. Navy Pier was insane. There was almost a 3 hour wait to get into Bubba Gumps.

I noticed that the Disney Store on Michigan Avenue is now just like the rest...plush toys and baby clothes. My kids were just happy that I made a trip into the Lego store.

Ohhhhhh, when I worked in the Wrigley building (about 30 years ago!) we got lunch from the Billy Goat all the time!

And Snoopy.......I have an American Girl doll, so I say "GO FOR IT"
