I JUST got an e-mail from DVC Membership telling me all about a new enhancement to the reservation policy! Something about basing counts on check-in date as opposed to check-out dates ... wonder how that will work out?!?!?

I, too, just received an email today. Although the change was 2-3 weeks ago. I'm glad they are sending emails to all the members. I don't think everyone has heard about the changes yet and this is a great way to find out what all the other members think, especially those that do not frequent the "boards".

If they notified the whole membership I wonder is DIS can handle the volume of views and posts as people look for additional information. I do not think I would want to be a moderator as they try to keep the thread consolidated.

I actually was part of the original thread and have received 3 calls from Joy discussing the email and letter I sent about my concerns.

I just thought it ws pretty lame that they finally got around to letting us know about the change, via email. I know that they posted it on the website a few days after it took effect, but think about all the members that never check the site! Seems like both of these could have been very easily done BEFORE the new policy was in place.

Think they will eventually send out actual letters to explain the new "enhancements" or just wait until the next magazine?
