I had flowers sent to me!!!

I am a nurse and I had flowers sent to me anonymously from a patient thanking me for all that I did for them. FELT great! I give and give and give at work, and often feel exhausted and yes, unappreciated at times. This was such a nice gesture and I am so very thankful! Kind of puts the spring back in my step!

another nurse said that she can't remember ever another nurse receiving flowers sent to them at work.

I feel kind of special!

Aww, that's wonderful! You must have really made an impact. I'm sure you go above and beyond every day to care for people.

I once meant to send flowers to an ER nurse who cared for me during a life-threatening allergic reaction. I never did and I really regret it now.

Nursing is a very thankless job most of the time! I'm glad one of your pts took the time to give you props ! I have never seen that happen either, with flowers. We get baked goods from families at times, but not much else .
