Does this sound right? I booked 2 rooms at Pop Century - we are a family of 4 - DD 14, DS 11 and DH and I. The CM said that because we are a single household we are guarenteed connecting rooms. I hope so, but I didn't think that connecting rooms were ever "guarenteed".

I'm surprised the CM used the word guaranteed. Heck, you aren't even "guaranteed" to stay at Pop Century.

When I book two rooms like that, Disney has me put one adult in one room and an adult in the other.

The only time you would be guaranteed connecting rooms would be if there was one adult with too many kids to fit in one room.

Always ask the CM you are speaking with, their definition of connecting rooms.

The terms, adjoining and connecting, are used to refer to different things, by different CM's.

For some, one term means, next-door, side-by-side and for other CM's, the same term means, a common door between the rooms. :confused3

We are a family of four-husband, me, my mother and son. We've always been "guaranteed" connecting rooms because my mother gets very nervous by herself. I've always stressed that we NEED connecting rooms and I've always had them guaranteed and even stated on the reservation confirmation that they are guaranteed. I've never had a problem.
