Guaranteed Week Sales Data for VGF

This was discussed thought was you can now only get fixed weeks of what Disney buys back.

Do we have anyone who has confirmed you can just buy whatever fixed week you want.

I know someone recently purchased one.

So this was odd because for years the belief was that fixed weeks couldn't be sold at 'sold out' (VGF/Poly) resorts unless reacquired. Then someone bought a fixed week direct. So it seems to me that Disney may be able to do this. Whether this is linked to them being able change UY too, I have no idea.

I would LOVE a fixed week at VGF and had I known this back last year when I bought direct in Florida (Disney arent allowed to sell to me internationally), I probably would have purchased one. The other side of me is so thankful I DIDN'T know about it because compared to the cost of my FW at Riviera, the price for the FW at VGF is eye watering.

that's a good point, buying a fixed week may require a bit of self-advocacy if not at RVA, AUL, or CCV

another interesting piece of info: it seems the fixed week point cost may be set to whatever it was during initial sales; for example, the fixed week recorded on 15 Oct 2019 (week #52 deluxe studio - standard) was considered as 199 points, the same as it was listed in the original 2013 sales sheet for VGF fixed weeks ...

Buying a FW at RVA required some self-advocacy last year too because the guide didn't realise that FW now qualified for incentives. I had to push this and felt unless I knew that info, I would be getting no incentives!

It is also my understanding that the FW chart remains consistent and isn't altered from the initial sales year.
