GT, VGT etc What do they all mean?

I keep hearing people on the boards talk about all of these different rates. What do they stand for?
 
I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong but it's my understanding....gt means guarnte....... Vgt is verandah guarntee.....igt is inside.... Ad so on and so forth anyone help out in this one??

There is GTY which means that specific cabin band eg 9 is getting full so they guarantee you'll be in that cabin band or higher but you can't pick a cabin number.

Then there are IGT, OGT, and VGT, they stand for Inside, Oceanview and Verandah. These are normally last minute rates after the PIF date. You have to pay in full and cannot cancel or change etc but get a reduced rate. Again you cannot pick your cabin.
