Ok I am blessed that I even get pins but since the beginning of the year I have been checking my emails and calling every week to see if there is a pin under my name and I finally get one that is through Dec which is when we plan on going and it is one I cant use.
It was the kids 3-9 stay and play for free and my kids are 2, 11 and 15 grrrrrrr I am so mad!!!
Why couldn't they send me to 20/30/40 that would have been better than what I got and then I go on their website and even though I had a pin at the bottom of my email I see that is a special that is running anyway!

Interesting, this is the first time I read about the kids play free thru December. Hopefully we will all be getting free dining pins soon. We are booked with a 30% off value right now but free dining would be a much better deal even when paying for the upgrade.

OP, I know the feeling. I'm also blessed to have gotten several pins. I couldn't use any of them. Then I read about the free dining pin through mid Dec. Did I get that one?? Noooo... I feel somewhat nausiated at the thought of not getting the free dining pin. The free dining makes it worth it for my family to go. I booked a room only at POP w/ the AAA discount, but will more than likely cancel if the free dining doesn't come through. However, I'm very happy for those who have received PINs they can use!!

Its nuts! We received the 30% off values and 40% off above resorts back in November. I couldn't believe Disney put out a pin that good for over a year, thru Dec 2010. We pounced on it, good thing since its all we have received!

Free dining would really save us about $400!

We just got back last night and were able to book our next stay with a bounceback offer. Wouldn't you know...there was a 30% Pin code in my e-mail when I got back! I guess when it rains, it pours.

I'm sure next time we want to book, there won't be a discount in sight
I guess there is not really any rhyme or reason to the pins.

May I ask what kind of discount you get with AAA since I am also a member I may go ahead and book with them so I can reserve the room and do like you and cancel if a better offer doesn't come my way.

Sure! I booked w/ Disney, not an AAA agent. Dec. 11-18 room only at POP. I saved $56.45. It isn't much, but better than nothing. I will wait it out for a PIN code. If a deal doesn't come out, I will keep pushing the dates. If all else fails, I will cancel the trip. I havn't told my mom & son about it in case I have to cancel. Bnts, I really hope you get a code!!

I used to get pins all the time...now they have come to a screeching halt! I'm really hoping for the FD one too!
