had our first viewing on the house today (we have been on market 6 weeks) so was really excited. I spent all day threatening DS with death if he came in with muddy trainers etc. Our viewers came but were a complete waste of time as they have not even decided if they want to move yet and were just looking what they could get for their money. Apparently they told the estate agent all this ... he just neglected to tell me. What a waste of time, we had planned to visit relatives today but have put it off until next week instead because of this. I think I will be having sharp words with them tomorrow :furious:

Aww bless; hope things get sorted out soon..

I'd probably be killing him too by now.. :furious:

So sorry, I know how you feel. My house has been on the market for 7 weeks now and I have only had 4 viewings :bounce: I have dropped the price, been in and badgered them etc. but they are getting the heave-ho tomorrow. I have dropped the price twice now, I'm really fed up. here's hoping you get a result soon, and yes I know all about time-wasters too!

Ugh. Selling (or buying) a home is such a stressful event!

If it helps to know, it's not much better here. I was in the market for a home that would sell for $200,000 or less. I couldn't find a realtor/estate agent to work with! I was told by firm after firm that they didn't "waste time" with people who weren't prepared to spend at least $300,000.

Buying a house in the greater Orlando area was a miserable experience.

Good luck on selling your home! I would think that with real estate as dear as it is in the UK, you'd not have much trouble!

What a shame :grouphug: Hope you give him what for tomorrow :thumbsup2

Oh no, what a waste of time, I would be furious too. I really hope you manage to sell it soon :thumbsup2

Buying and selling is a complete pain in the wotsits. So stressful, just hang in there, hopefully something will come up soon. Unfortunately unless you're in the first time buyer category or the downsizing category the market is really slow.

its when you do all the cleaning and they don't turn up that really gets me hopping mad :furious:

Oh yeah, it is infuriating, however at least my cleaning is done then ;)
