Group arriving on different days -how to book FP

My FP window opens tonight. We are doing a split stay. 2 nights at Pop then 5 nights in a 2 br at BLT with my parents. We are not doing Any parks until my parents get there. Their window won't open for 2 more days. If I book ours tonight, is it a PITA to try to get them matching times in 2 days? Am I betteroff just waiting till I can book everyone at the same time?

Ugh, why can't I go back and fix typos without deleting everything I wrote after the typo? Anyway...

As long as their MDE is linked to yours for booking FPs, your window is their window. So, plan on booking for them at the same time you do yours tonight.

And, for fixing the typos, the only way is to hide the keyboard and then tap where you want the cursor to appear. Not so much fun...

Definitely book you fast passes tonight. Recently, MDE added a button near the bottom of the fastpass+ screen that says add family and friends to an existing fastpass+ reservation. We did this for our upcoming march trip with friends and successfully added them on to all of the attractions that we had even SDMT and anna and elsa fastpass.

We did this for our upcoming march trip with friends and successfully added them on to all of the attractions that we had even SDMT and anna and elsa fastpass.

This - we did this too for April, booked ours first, then went through the add family and friends button to add our friends, who are checking in 3 days after us. No issues. Just have to be linked as family and friends in MDE and have their tickets all linked and ready to go!

If you try to add friends and family and one of the fp times are not available for the second group, does it cancel the passes for the first group in an attempt to keep everyone together?

The system won't delete your FPs. You will have to decrease the number and try for overlapping FP windows.

Just as an FYI to anyone searching for this info in the future - my parents' FP window did open the same time as mine even though they are arriving 2 days later. Worked out well!
